About
Welcome to Simon Wilson Tattoo. If you have come to my website, then I’m guessing you’re looking at getting a tattoo.

Whether it’s your 1st or your 50th, you won’t find better quality and friendlier service than at Highline Tattooing & Body Piercing, St. Kilda, a business I have co-owned and managed for over fifteen years.

I am passionate about the art of tattooing. I enjoy creating original designs, reproducing designs from our catalogs, or working with a design of your own.

If you are prepared to have it on your body for the rest of your life, then I will do the best job possible to get it there.

As a member of the Professional Tattoo Association for 10 years, I take great pride in my work, operating above health regulations and using brand new needles for every customer.

I have also been body piercing since 1996.

So if you have any questions or are unsure about what’s involved in getting a tattoo, give me a call on 0413 046 554 or shoot me an email at simon@simonwilsontattoo.com.

I am more than happy to arrange a time to meet at the studio where I will take you through the whole process.

In the meantime, sit back and check out some of my work in the Gallery.

If you like what you see, feel free to drop into Highline Tattooing & Body Piercing anytime and browse through the many more photos and hundreds of tattoo designs in our extensive catalogs.

Hygiene
All tattooing is done in a clean, Health Department approved studio.

Individual sterilized needles and tubes are used, along with wipes, bandages, colours, etc.

Anything that is not disposable (eg. Power box, clip cord, armrest) is covered with plastic to prevent cross-contamination.

Highline Tattooing & Body Piercing studio is regularly inspected by the Health Department and operates ABOVE the high standards set forth by them.

How to Care For Your New Tattoo

Remove bandage after 1 to 3 hours, gently wash with warm soapy water, make sure to remove all traces of blood, bloodspots and excess cream.

DO NOT REBANDAGE. Gently rub in a small amount of Bepanthen cream so that it disappears into the tattoo.

A protective scale will form on your tattoo 1 to 3 days after leaving the studio. It is there for the protection of your tattoo and will fall away by itself after 5 to 10 days provided you use the recommended cream Bepanthen.

Apply the cream at least 4 times daily, use only a small amount and rub in well. DO NOT pick or scratch the scale as this will damage your tattoo.

Gently wash the tattoo when you shower, pat tattoo dry with towel, DO NOT wipe, DO NOT try to soak the scab or scale off, DO NOT soak in a bath.

DO NOT expose your new tattoo to sunshine for at least 2 weeks. DO NOT go swimming in salt water or swimming pools until all the scale has fallen away. DO NOT apply Vaseline
or greasy lotions of any kind.

Feel free to send me an email anytime regarding tattoos, designs, piercings and booking requests – I will respond as soon as I can. Alternatively give me a call on 0413 046 554
