Good health is a reflection of a well-balanced and tuned body operating in a state of equilibrium.
Billions of cells die and are replaced with new ones every moment in our bodies maintaining a balanced state of health, mean while we are constantly fighting exogenous pathogens trying to attack us externally and internally and yet we maintain a healthy state without any awareness of this.
While in balance our bodies have an incredible healing power which maintains a state of good healthy.
Although very robust, if our bodies are out of balance in any way, our health can be very delicate and easily shift into a state of disease.
With the tools of his profession and aided with modern research and clinical practices his treatment approaches have two simple aims, to bring the body back into balance to enable your body to heal itself, and once healthy again I work to help keep you this way.

Acupuncture Treatment Session
Acupuncture treatments are a collection of techniques involving the stimulation of points on the body such as penetrating the skin with very fine needles that are then manipulated manually or by electrical stimulation.
This is one of the main components of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), and is among the oldest healing practices in the world.
It focuses on improving the overall health and wellbeing of the patient. By bringing the body’s internal systems back into balance, acupuncture promotes the natural healing process of the body and improving functioning as well helping maintain balanced health preventing and even reversing the onset of disease and disharmony.
During an acupuncture session the practitioner looks the whole person rather than just the symptoms of the particular complaint.
The diagnostic process is quite thorough and paints a holistic picture of the person’s current state of health.
This is achieved through the practitioner taking into account how the person is presenting visually, how they sound, through questions in the interview process, and through inspection of their tongue and palpation of their pulse.
Chinese Remedial Massage (Tui Na)
Tui Na is a form of Chinese Massage used to correct musculoskeletal problems as well as treating diseases and disorders and can be used in place of acupuncture for patients with needle phobias.
The use of pressure, pinching, plucking, rubbing, and revolving techniques, among others, to stimulate acupuncture points without the use of needles.
It is an effective form of massage and is also used to manipulate various parts of the body to aid in the realignment of joints as well as being used to increase and restore proper range of motion of joints, within the body.
Tui Na may be used as part of and acupuncture session if requested or as a standalone treatment .If Tui Na is utilised as a standalone treatment, the same diagnosis process is used as within an Acupuncture session.
