Our Team

Hugh McInnes – B.Com, CA

Hugh joined the firm in November 2011 as a Senior Accountant in the Taxation and Business Services area. He has been a qualified accountant and member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants since 1996, working firstly in New Zealand then in Australia since 2007. He joined the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia in 2009 and the Institute of Public Accountants in 2014.

Bryce Uy – B.Bus, CPA

Bryce joined the firm in September 2009 in the Taxation and Business Services area. He has completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business and is a member of CPA Australia.

Richard Glover – Dip Fin Serv, FBAA

Richard has been a qualified accountant since 1972. Initially working in the Brisbane City Council holding several Finance and Operations positions, then in 1996 he set up Accounting and Financial Solutions offering financial, taxation and business advice. Although the firm ceased offering Financial Planning services in 2010, the knowledge Richard gained through this period assists him in his specialist areas of:

Accounting and cashflow advice
Business advice, services and succession planning
Financing and loan services (broking)
Richard is a member of the National Taxation and Accountants Association (NTAA) and Finance Brokers Association of Australia (FBAA).

Richard is also a Justice of the Peace (Qual).

Amanda Girling – Dip Fin Serv, MFAA

Amanda is the key Client Services and operations person, having joined us in October 1999 and now has more than 19 years experience in client service and administration positions.

Amanda has completed a Diploma in Financial Services (Finance/Mortgage Broking Management), is a member of the Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia and is the main qualified loan writer with skills and experience in housing finance, investment loans and vehicle and equipment financing.

Amanda is also a Commissioner for Declarations.
