With over 34 years expertise, owner Janice Fernandez has diverse knowledge of her field specialising in neck and back injuries, manual therapy and acupuncture. Backed by a fresh team consisting of a well-versed sports physiotherapist who works with both the NSW Netball team and local sporting clubs as well as an international massage therapist with a loyal clientele whose professionalism and thorough knowledge of anatomy makes her a stand out in her field.

Our physiotherapists will listen and together with a thorough examination provide you with a diagnosis followed by an outline of your treatment options and prescribe specific exercise programs. Our physiotherapist are all trained in dry needling, joint mobilisation, soft tissue techniques and exercise therapy.

At Action Physio and Rehab we love being involved in the local community. In 2014 we were the official physios for the Maroubra Fun Run. We provided pre and post massage, treated injuries and gave rehab advice to the general public. We also gave community talks at the Maroubra Library and local community groups. If you would like us to come out to your community group let us know. Topics have included Back Injury prevention, posture at work and home, sports fitness, how to prevent injuries in your gym work outs, falls prevention in the elderly and the benefits of exercise among the elderly to name a few.
