My name is Frits Trijbetz and I would like to personally welcome you to Acumen Menswear.

Acumen is a menswear store unlike any other. I stock a select range of quality men’s clothing, including suits, shirts and smart casual business wear as well as a superb range of accessory items such as ties and cufflinks that make wonderful men’s presents.

I opened my menswear Melbourne store in St Kilda Road in 2002 and love coming to work. I’m passionate about helping my customers choose items that make them look good and feel great.

Finding the appropriate outfit for any occasion is very rewarding and allows me to build long lasting relationships with my clients − I’ve known some of them since I worked at Georges of Collins Street.

No effort is ever too much and I work by the motto: If it is worth a smile, it is worth my while.

“Frits is really an all-round nice guy. Got two pairs of bamboo low cut socks the other day and they are a revelation. Normally, even with cotton socks on I feel all the hardness of the ground coming up through my converse shoes. But the bamboos seem to take out the shock factor without being super-thick/hot. Very impressive.”
