Our Story
Founded by Shannon and Jason Drivas, SHAPEHOUSE was inspired by their personal passions and fitness journeys. Jason an entrepreneur, personal trainer, strength and conditioning coach and competitive bodybuilder started his fitness journey in 1993 when his rugby career was cut short by multiple injuries leading to rehabilitation.  He then fell in love with the lifestyle and the more results he saw, the more he was motivated and it soon became his escape and he was hooked.
Shannon discovered the joys of resistance training and its effects on mind, body and soul while still working full time as a Makeup Artist. The instant boost on wellbeing was so addictive that she dived head first into the industry to soak in knowledge she was so thirsty for and eventually became a qualified strength and conditioning coach. Spending so much time in and out of the gym also meant that she was constantly shopping for activewear that would keep her looking stylish, while powering though the most intense workouts.
SHAPEHOUSE is born. With a vision to motivate and inspire women and men to live their fitness goals fearlessly without compromising on style, SHAPEHOUSE wear combines functional designs with high performance sportswear technology to create pieces that take its wearer seamlessly through a busy day.
SHAPEHOUSE caters to the yoga community, the pilates fans, the body building family and the stylish everyday man and woman not willing to compromise on comfort for fashion or on appearance for training. From ‘the studio to the streets’, SHAPEHOUSE was designed for all different kinds of fitness devotees and of course to their lifestyles outside the gym.
SHAPEHOUSE also promotes a balanced, healthy lifestyle through engaging across various cultures and communities, building long lasting, personal connections.
