Simonne Spooner FACP Director/Principal
Specialist Sports Physiotherapist
Simonne is our practice principal at North Ryde Physiotherapy. Having completed her exams in May 2013, Simonne graduated from the Australian College of Physiotherapists as a Specialist Sports Physio, one of only 37 in Australia. Fellowship of the College recognises the leadership and expertise of Specialist Physiotherapists. She has extensive experience in the treatment of sports injuries, particularly those associated with rugby union. Simonne was the physiotherapist for the Australian Women’s Rugby Union Team for 6 years. She is currently the Head Physiotherapist for Eastwood Rugby Union.
Stephen Andreazza Senior Physiotherapist
Stephen joined the team in March 2013 having graduated from the University of Sydney in 2012 with a Masters of Physiotherapy, after previously completing a Degree in Sports and Exercise Health Science. Stephen is 100 and 200m National Level sprinter. He is currently completing a Masters in Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at Griffith University in QLD.
Nick Batger Physiotherapist
Nick joined the practice in February 2015, having graduated from The Australian Catholic University. Being a First Grade player for Eastwood, Nick has already been a part of our practice for many years. He is married his physiotherapist fiance in December 2015, before honeymooning in Europe. Nick took an extended leave of absence to play rugby in San Diego, but we’ve welcomed him back with open arms!
Jana Prencel Receptionist
We welcomed Jana to our team in July 2015. Hailing from Canberra, Jana is studying Exercise Physiology at Sydney University. She is a keen dancer, and will be representing NSW at the Australian National Calisthenics in Adelaide in July. Jill Spooner Receptionist
Jill is Simonne’s mum and our casual receptionist who not only takes care of the front desk but also the staff here. Jill has been with our practice for over two years. Matt Gonzalez Receptionist
Matt is the newest addition to our team, joining us in March 2016. He is a first grade player for Eastwood Rugby and is off to Wales in July for Rugby 7’s representing Australia at the World University Games. He is currently studying Health Sciences at Macquarie University.
