Kinetic Balance also has a special focus on sports injury management and rehabilitation as well as running related injuries. We have a dedicated holistic approach to client care and believe in delivering the highest possible standard of care to our patients.
Courtney Gum Practice Principal
Courtney graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) in 2003.Over the years Courtney has developed a wide range of Physiotherapy skills and a complex understanding of the human body.She has worked in several highly regarded private practice Physiotherapy clinics prior to opening Kinetic Balance Physiotherapy in Port Noarlunga.
Courtney has a specific interest in human anatomy and biomechanics and how it applies to sport and recreation. She focuses on carrying out a thorough assessment, hands on treatment and patient specific advice. Courtney has a dedicated holistic approach to client care and believes in delivering the highest possible standard of care to her patients.
Courtney has a passion for sport and has been fortunate enough to play high level netball and more recently national level women’s AFL. In 2013 and 14 she was selected to play in the National Women’s AFL match for Melbourne Football Club. She has also been the Physiotherapist for the NSW U18 AFL Youth Girls and the WA Men’s State Team.
Courtney is greatly looking forward to her new venture in beautiful Port Noarlunga.
Paige Lyn Olsen Acupuncture & Chinese Herbal Medicine, Qi Gong, Tai Chi
Paige Lyn Olsen, L.Ac., Dipl.O.M. began practicing Qi Gong with Dr. Baolin Wu and meditation with Leong Tan in 1998 in Los Angeles, California. A year later she began her study of Yang Classical Family Style Tai Chi and other forms of Qi Gong with Master Nanzazi Malonga. After a two year apprenticeship with her teacher, Paige enrolled in Graduate School to study Chinese Medicine at Emperor’s College in Los Angeles. She has been a Licensed Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist in the State of California as well as a National Diplomate in Oriental Medicine in the US with private practices in Los Angeles and Santa Barbara for nearly a decade.
For the past 10 years, Paige has also been teaching meditation, Qi Gong and Yang Classical-Family Style Tai Chi with a strong emphasis on healing the body through movement and breath. She incorporates fundamental principles of Classical Chinese Medicine into her classes for students to gain a deeper awareness of the cultivation that lies within these practices. Paige also has a background in Dong and Wu Hao style Tai Chi, various forms of Qi Gong, Hatha, Yin and Naga Yoga, and Taoist meditation.
Paige recently moved to the Fleurieu Peninsula from Santa Barbara with her husband and dog. She plans to start a practice in the area offering Acupuncture, Chinese medicine, bodywork, meditation, Tai Chi, and Qi Gong.
Bernie Noonan Acupuncture, Nutritionist and Yoga
Bernie is a qualified Acupuncturist and Nutritionist living and working on the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula.
After completing a Bachelor of Health Sciences at the University of Adelaide, she went on to gain a Master of Applied Sciences (Acupuncture) through RMIT and Master of Human Nutrition through Deakin University.
With a strong interest in the link between digestive imbalances and the overall health of the body (pain, anxiety and lowered immune function), Bernie’s treatment aim is to support your body to return to a state of wellness using a blend of Traditional Chinese Medicine philosophy and Western Medical advancement.
Bernie’s acupuncture technique is gentle and calming. Treatments may include acupuncture (needles), laser acupuncture, cupping, tuina (TCM Massage), moxibustion, TDP Heat Lamp, dietary therapy/ nutrition therapy and lifestyle advice.
She believes in ‘food as medicine’ and combines Chinese dietary therapy with Clinical Nutrition to come up with a treatment plan that is individual to you. She believes in a relaxed approach to eating based around seasonal wholefoods and the occasional treat.

Chris offers a range of massage therapies including: deep tissue, sports ,remedial and theraputic massage. Chris has been a practising massage therapist for over 10 years in Adelaide. He has a keen interest in sport and living a healthy lifestyle. You will frequently find him running up Mt. Lofty at a crazy pace. Previous to becoming a massage therapist, he was a farmer. He has strong hands!
