Silk Studio was established in February 2010 by husband & wife team Kristy & John Cooper.
Having been a Therapist for many years Kristy saw the benefits for both her clients & her future family to take the traditional Beauty Clinic/Salon & create a Personalised Boutique Studio where ladies & gents of all ages could experience a high end service within the heart of Mount Cotton all the while having the flexibility to work from home.

All of our staff are Senior Therapists, highly trained & experienced in every area of the Medi & Beauty Industry holding extra qualifications in the paramedical & advanced Beauty fields.
Laura is Salon Manager here at Silk Studio she has a passion for the industry & by nature is a very caring, genuine person.
As salon Manager Laura is highly skilled holding both Beauty & paramedical qualifications.
Having worked in many prestigious Day Spa’s Laura is well equipped to continue modelling the high standards that make Silk Studio the salon of choice by all who expect a high end service produced with care, attention to detail & value for money.
Kristy is owner & part time Senior Therapist at Silk Studio providing a second to none service for new & existing clients that have followed Kristy for over 12yrs! She has a passion for cosmetic chemistry & skin histology, is a perfectionist & pays particular attention to finer details.
She thrives on helping others & is often working behind the scenes to keep Silk Studio growing & up to date!
Sarah brings 15 years experience in Beauty & Massage Therapy to Silk Studio! With a drive to ensure every client’s expectations are met & a passion for the industry Sarah will assist & guide you to reach all of your beauty goals.
With a strong belief in client care Sarah is always updating her skills & knowledge to stay abreast of the fast growing Medi/Beauty Industry.
