Malcolm Wicks
Malcolm is a Director of the Divitia group of companies. Beginning his career with a Chartered Accounting firm in Brisbane, he has considerable expertise in taxation, accounting and business structuring. After six years in the commercial sector including managing and re-structuring small to medium size businesses, Malcolm now specialises in personal wealth management for his clients in respect of taxation, investments, superannuation and personal insurance.
Malcolm holds a Bachelor of Business in Accounting and Taxation Law and a Diploma of Financial Services in Financial Planning. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, an Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management and an Authorised Representative of Divitia Pty Ltd (AFSL 412 113).
Tanya Sperling
Tanya joined the Divitia Group in 2015 as an Accountant assisting clients with their accounting and business needs specialising in cloud computing solutions. Tanya’s experience draws on a long career in chartered accountancy and tax compliance. More recently, Tanya broadened her skill set completing a Bachelor in Applied Social Science (majoring in Coaching) and a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment. These qualifications enhance Tanya’s ability in assisting clients with their accounting and business software programs.
Tanya is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and holds a Bachelor of Commerce.
Valerie Rodgers
Valerie has been the Office Administrator for Divitia since joining the group in 2007. Valerie has worked in various accounting and administration roles in both New Zealand and Australia. Holding positions in large organisations including maintaining ledgers and accounts receivable management, Valerie has experience in the administrative processes confronting business operators. Utilising a practical understanding of various accounting software packages including payroll, Valerie assists small and medium size business clients with ensuring they are meeting their ongoing accounting and taxation obligations.
Brad Ryan
Brad is a Director of the Divitia Group of Companies. Brad was a Taxation and Business Services Partner at a major second tier Chartered Accounting firm in Brisbane. He has considerable expertise in taxation, superannuation, business structuring and business performance and improvement. Brad also has extensive commercial experience and has acted as a company director for companies in the following sectors Marimite, IT, Racing and Funds Management. Brad now specialises in assisting small to medium businesses improve their business performance, and structures their business for the best outcomes. Brad holds a Bachelors of Commerce and Law and a Master of International Tax. He is Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and a Fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia.
Brad is married to Jodie and has 3 children, Kate, Jack & Eliza.
Jodie Ryan
Jodie Ryan has expertise in financial planning, superannuation and risk insurance developed over the past 19 years in the financial services sector. Jodie’s strengths lie in analysing and assisting to provide solutions to protect the life risks faced by families and small to medium enterprises, as well as providing effective strategies to meet their financial goals. Jodie holds a Diploma of Financial Planning, and has a Bachelor of Education as a qualified secondary school teacher. Jodie lives in Brisbane and is married to Brad and has 3 children, Kare, Jack & Eliza.
