Founder & CEO
Ben Walker founded Inspire CA at the age of 23 with nothing but a borrowed printer, a laptop and a simple idea: what if, instead of just doing tax and reporting on history, accountants could give game changing advice that could help people write a better future for their business and their family?
Four years on, Inspire CA has been showcased as a global example of what an Accounting firm should be, thanks to Ben’s disruptive approach to throwing out timesheets & charging by the hour, his challenge of the traditional ‘old school’ model of the accounting industry and belief that Accountants change lives.
Ben is a winner of the coveted Anthill Online 30under30 award for 2014, was named a finalist in the Brisbane Young Entrepreneur of the Year awards and has been featured in many publications including the Courier Mail, Small Business Big Marketing Podcast with Tim Reid, Brisbane Business News & B Mag.
Today, while he continues to lead Inspire CA as CEO & Founder, Ben’s goal is to inspire others create a business that gives them the freedom to put family first and to make a positive difference in the world. 
Harvee Pene

If Ben is the Accountant, Harvee is the Entrepreneur…
Harvee’s first business was at age 12 mowing neighbourhood lawns and then 5 years later saved enough to buy his first investment property.
He started his second business at 18 as a scaffolder, and 5 years later built it into a large construction training and labour hire company with 20+ employees.
Wanting to ‘get off the tools’, Harvee started his next journey as a part time intern in an accounting firm, while studying accounting at QUT.
Over the next 5 years, he helped build a change management consulting firm which helped some 600 Accounting Firms around Australia have a more positive impact in their clients lives, and later floated on the ASX.
That’s where he met Ben Walker – The Founder of Inspire CA.
Today, while he continues to lead the Inspire team as GM, Harvee’s goal is to inspire others create a business that gives them the freedom to put family first and to make a positive difference in the world.
Harvee is a TEDx speaker and also the founder of Accountants For Good – a global movement that disrupts a very ‘old school’ accounting industry.
Rizal Ramzan

“Riz” is an Accountant, a professional Master of Ceremonies or MC and even a qualified cocktail bartender.
He previously worked as THE in house accountant for many of the major businesses in and around the CBD and came across to Inspire CA to help business owners keep more of their hard earned cash through.  He helps our clients implement every legally available tax planning strategy and gives entrepreneurs the gift of knowing their numbers.
Kathryn Vellacott
CFO & Client Delight
Kathryn brings a delightful dynamic to the Inspire CA office.
With an incredible knack for organisation and attention to detail, Kathryn keeps the place running and the lodgement dates met!
Kathryn is also tasked with the difficult responsibility of ensuring we don’t take ourselves too seriously!

Jessica has the ability to FILL the room with her personality.
She’s here to make sure that our clients are getting the best from our team, and that we anticipate their every need!
Jake Pretorius
Loans Manager & Accountant for Good
Jake Pretorius is an Accountant for Good and Loan Manager.
Jake used to work for a major bank as a personal banker and after seeing firsthand so many business owners struggling with cashflow, he then switched sides and became an Accountant for Good.
He helps business owners get access to the finance that fuels their entrepreneurial dreams!
Ethan Paraha Cutts
Office Admin
Ethan is a future young gun accountant.
Although he looks like he is 25, he’s just 15 years old and is doing a school based traineeship in Business Administration.
Ethan is a proud kiwi (he and Harvee are cousins) and when he’s not scanning and filing, he can be found running around the footy field representing his school.
