Who We Are
Allan Mason – The Principal 
Allan has over 30 years experience as a Chartered Accountant and nearly 15 years in financial services and non-accounting based businesses (sometimes concurrently).
Allan was a principal in the firm Walker Williams Mason at Manly, NSW (now Charter Group) then had his own firm, Allan Mason & Associates in Chatswood, NSW. 
During his extensive business life Allan has owned, established or been involved with the following businesses, in addition to running an accounting practice:
Finance company 
Commercial piggery 
Dog and cat boarding kennels 
Agricultural plantations (olives, tea tree, pine, soya bean, ginseng) 
Saw mill 
Financial services company – holding three financial services licences from ASIC 
Bio-botanicals company 
Property developments 
Public company ASX listing 
Prospectus and product disclosure documents preparation. 
Allan knows from experience and education what it takes to run a business. It is not always a bed of roses, but takes dedicated effort, working smart and hard work. Although it can be profitable and is certainly exciting.
Allan is a published author having written three books and numerous articles on business.
His qualifications include:
Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology (with Credit) in 1978 
Associate Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (CA) 
Practicing Certificate with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia 
Fellow of the Society of Certified Practising Accountants (FCPA) since resigned
