Director John Sciacca leads the team at Sciacca’s Accountants + Advisers with over 24 years experience in the accounting and finance area.

John Sciacca, Director
John holds a Bachelor of Financial Administration from the University of New England and is a fellow of CPA Australia. He is also now a qualified Financial Adviser.
What is the most enjoyable part of your job? Just talking to my clients , about everything and anything. This leaves little space for work sometimes!
Describe yourself in three words. I’m a big picture person. Love to tell stories. Hopefully funny. Very independent.
If I had an extra 5 hours every week I would… Love to go to the movies, instead of finding more time for ballet. My girls dance enough!!
I am energised by… By just planning the week ahead. And also implementing the big picture ideas with my team.

Catherine Law, Accountant
After Catherine completed High School she did a bookkeeping course at TAFE and then started a career off in an Accountant’s Office as a Typist Clerk. Catherine has since worked her way up to a Senior Accounting position through life experiences and on the job training.After having her third child, Catherine and her husband made a sea change in 2001 and moved to Bribie Island from Melbourne. On Bribie Island they owned and operated a convenience store for four years. After experiencing seven day trading and the stress of owning their own business, Catherine decided to go back to working a normal job.What is the most enjoyable part of your job… When a client’s job is completed!

If I had an extra 5 hours every week, I would… Spend more time exercising.

Aidan Wade, Accountant
Aidan holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree majoring in Accounting from Griffith University on the Gold Coast.

Nick Lancaster, Accountant
Nick has been a keen student of Business, Accountancy and Economics since Year 9 at school. He finished High School at St Joseph’s Nudgee College in 2011 and completed his Bachelor in Business with a major in Accountancy and a minor in Professional Accounting Extension in 2014. He plans to start his CPA training this year.
What is the most enjoyable part of your job? Learning new skills and solving clients’ problems.

Stephanie Leonardi, Administration Manager
Stephanie Leonardi was employed by John as a Receptionist in 2013, and has since become Administration Manager. When she isn’t working she loves to be social by being with her friends and travelling.
What is the most enjoyable part of your job? Working with great people and of course pay day !

Zoe Butler, Receptionist
Zoe is the newest member of the Sciacca’s Accountants + Advisers team after moving down to Brisbane from Townsville. Zoe is enjoying the office style of work, having a friendly and supportive team makes it all that much better. She enjoys socialising with friends and spending time at the beach in her spare time.
What is the most enjoyable part of your job? Working in a friendly environment and going out for end of month lunch!
