Herzig Prosser & Co is a family oriented business and has been providing accounting and taxation services and advice for over 28 years. Our reputation for commitment to our clients has been achieved through a hard-working team providing exceptional service from our conveniently located Indooroopilly office.
Our Team
Our team consists of one respected partner, three assistant accountants and three administration and support staff. Each team member has their area of expertise that ensures that the firm provides authoritative personal service to our clients.
Director
Bruce Prosser FCA B.Com – Bruce commenced his professional career in 1971 with a “Big 8” accounting firm in Brisbane. As a chartered accountant, Bruce has extensive experience in professional and commercial fields both in Australia and overseas. Bruce has volunteered both his time and experience to various sporting clubs and local associations.
Accounting Staff
Borahan Ozguvenel CPA MProfAcc has re-joined our firm in 2012 after working for two years in one of Australia’s largest taxation and accounting firms. He has 9 years experience in Public Practice. He graduated from the University of Queensland (UQ) with Master of Professional Accounting (CPA). He enjoys reading novels, swimming and attempting to fly with a paraglider.
Frank Cheng MProfAcc has been a valuable member of our firm for over a year. Frank has completed his Master of Professional Accounting from Queensland University of Technology and is progressing in the CPA Program. Frank enjoys watching movies, golf, travelling and fine food.
Jun Wang B.Com MBA has recently joined our firm. Jun is a graduate of Griffith University and Queensland University of Technology with a Master and Bachelor degrees in Business, and majors in Accounting and Finance. In his spare time Jun enjoys playing sport, travelling and fishing.
Administration Support
Renae Buchanan (DipAcc) is a valuable member of our team and has been with us for eight (8) years. She graduated with a Diploma in Accounting in December 2011. Renae is our new Office Manager, taking over from Shirley who we sadly farewelled to retirement this year after 23 years of service.  Apart from ensuring that all aspects of our office function smoothly Renae is our link with government authorities and is always willing to lend a helping hand.  In Renae’s spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, crafts and spending time with her two dogs.
Jordan Sheck  joined the firm in 2012 and has developed a number of skills since joining our firm. Jordan has completed her Certificate III in Business Administration and is currently completing Certificate IV in Accounting.  Jordan has recently returned to our firm after being on Maternity Leave. In Jordan’s spare time she enjoys spending quality time with her Fiance and 3 young Children.
Teressa Covele has been a valuable member of the firm for a number of years. After several years fulltime, Teressa left the firm to start a family and now comes in on a casual basis to help with running of the office. When Teressa is not working, she enjoys spending time with her 2 children and husband as well as craft.
