Pluta Accountants is a family owned business with 9 staff and 2 Partners.  The firm was started by Mr Michael Pluta, 30 years ago.  Daniel has been working with the business for over 20 years and Natalie has been with the firm since 2001 after having moved from PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Our specialisation is in Small Medium Enterprise (SME) businesses, assisting with their taxation, strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting requirements.  In particular, we have assisted a number of businesses through Mergers’ and large growth phases.
We have a strong background in all aspects of taxation.  Our taxation expertise has been also sought in the following ways:
Tax Expert ABC Radio (Tax Time 2011 & 2012 & 2013) with Tony Delroy; 
Paid External Consultant for ATO (Invitation only) for the Quality Control Program since 2010 to present; 
Representative of numerous ATO Committees (Invitation only), including the ATPF (highest Tax Practitioner Committee within Australia); 
Representative of numerous CPA Committees; 
Inclusion on Panel to Develop QLD Tax Practitioner Conference from 2008 to present; 
Various advices on behalf of clients in respect of Business Difficulties, Matrimonial Disputes, Partnership Disputes, Business Restructure, Sale of Business and Strategic Growth of Business.

OUR PEOPLE
Natalie Pluta – Partner
Natalie has completed a Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) and a Bachelor of Law (Honors) at the Queensland University of Technology. Natalie is a Chartered Accountant (CA) and a member of CPA. Natalie worked in Corporate taxation for PriceWaterhouseCoopers prior to joining the firm. Natalie has been a member of CPA Queensland Public Practice Committee and currently serves on ATO Committees. Natalie provides advice in business growth, business sales, business structuring, complex taxation inquiries and compliance for Micro and SME’s businesses.
Daniel Pluta – Partner
Daniel has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Queensland. Daniel is a member of CPA Australia and the Taxation Institute of Australia (TIA). Daniel has gained extensive experience in management accounting issues and income tax compliance over the years with the firm. Daniel provides advice in all aspects of Micro and SME business compliance, MYOB, Quickbooks, Business Valuations, Budgeting, Cashflow and taxation compliance.
Michael John Pluta – Consultant
Michael Pluta founded Pluta Accountants in 1980. He has completed a Bachelor of Economics at the University of Queensland and is a Fellow of CPA Australia and the Taxation Institute of Australia (TIA). Michael worked as an investigating accountant and later became a merchant banker, where he was responsible for corporate lending in Queensland. Michael provides advice in all aspects of individual’s tax returns, micro businesses tax returns and due diligence for purchase of businesses.
