A. M. Giles & Co. was established in 1989 by Tony Giles. Matthew Kuhn joined the firm in 2000 and became a partner during 2009. Tony and Matthew have grown their team to include industry experts who are passionate about providing a service that’s innovative, personalised and reliable. We strive for excellence by exceeding our clients’ needs and expectations.
A. M. Giles & Co. offers clients a flexible and cost-effective approach to their accounting and financial needs. We care about our clients and aim to deliver a tailored approach ensuring we maximise your outcomes, and deliver a service that’s on time and within budget.
Predominantly servicing South-East Queensland, we manage the financial affairs for family businesses, small to medium size enterprises (SMEs), not-for-profit associations and trustees of a self-managed super funds (SMSFs). We work with businesses from a range of industries.

Tony founded A M Giles & Co in 1989 after learning his trade with a number of “Big 8″ accounting firms. He has accumulated over 25 years of public accounting experience covering all areas of financial management.
Tony is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Australian Institute of Management and The Taxation Institute of Australia.
Tony’s interests include horse racing, playing golf and watching AFL. Tony is the president of the Blues supporters club of Queensland – so there is no guessing which team has his undying support!

Upon completing his Bachelor of Commerce (Professional Accounting) degree at the University of Southern Queensland in June 1999, Matthew commenced his professional career with a medium-sized accounting firm before moving to A M Giles & Co as a graduate accountant in February 2000.
Matthew completed his professional studies, the CA Program, in December 2005. Matthew joined Tony as a Partner of A M Giles & Co during 2009. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and holds a current Certificate of Public Practice issued by the Institute. Matthew’s clients benefit from his practical experience together with his commitment to maintaining his technical skills through continuing professional development which keeps him abreast of the ever-changing accounting and taxation environment.
Matthew’s interests include playing golf, watching motor sports and fishing.
