Proudly Australian owned and operated, NV Design Studio is an established boutique hair and beauty salon located in Scarborough Street, Southport on the stunning Gold Coast. De Lorenzo was established in 1986 by Vincent and Anton de Lorenzo, two of Australia’s most influential hairdressing identities since 1945. Today, we continue to operate as a family owned company that is big enough to compete but small enough to care.
Staying true to its core values, De Lorenzo has always had a natural approach to hair care and continue to develop and manufacture all of its products on Australian shores, proudly supporting Australian jobs and local economy. With new technologies and our natural philosophy, we are dedicated to providing professional hair salons with the best quality products in an environmentally responsible way.

SAMANTHA GRAHAM – Salon Manager
Sam joins us in 2016 as our manager, she has a strong background in retail management and has a passion for all things hair (and beauty) so NV Design Studio seemed like a natural progression for her. We love having her here and feel like she has very quickly become a part of the NV family!

Amber is our head senior stylist she has been hairdressing for over 20 years and working at NV for half of her career! She is an award winning stylist and colourist who adores her chosen profession and still manages to get super excited about her work. She is very well respected and is regarded as an invaluable member of the NV team – She also has bragging rights to a lengthy list of longstanding loyal clients…

ALEX POPE – senior hair stylist
Alex is currently our newest member of the family here at NV and we consider ourselves lucky to have her. She has proven herself to be a competent and professional stylist and a diverse all-rounder. Alex also does brow sculpting and brow and lash tinting making her a versatile addition to the team.

CHLOE PARSONS – junior hair stylist
Chloe is a young fashion forward and enthusiastic stylist – She has wanted to be a hairdresser all her life so her passion and determination are second to none. Her speciality is hair extensions and she has an immense talent for colouring however she likes to spread her wings and she also covers facial waxing brow and lash tinting spray tanning and fantastic brow sculpting

My colleagues are more than that they are the family I always wanted… They are kind hearted beautiful people who wish the best for everyone and always welcome new members of the NV family with open arms and open hearts. I’ve never wanted to be anything but a hairdresser and for me it isn’t a ‘job’ it’s a lifestyle and one I am very passionate about. BROOKE WALDON – School based apprentice
Brooke is our school based apprentice affectionately known as ‘Brookey’ – she loves hairdressing and shows great promise in the field. She is a clever young lady and is often our ‘go to’ when we can’t figure out an IT problem… The world is her oyster so we are lucky to have the chance to direct and influence her as she starts her career.

I love coming into NV in the morning because it’s always such a friendly environment full of fantastic people! I’m passionate about hairdressing and want to learn as much as I can!”
