<p>Beginning as a niche women’s shirting business in 1974, Country Road has evolved into Australia’s first lifestyle brand for women, men, children and home; renowned for stylish, high-quality apparel, accessories and homeware.</p>
<p>In 1998, Woolworth Holdings Ltd South Africa secured a controlling interest in Country Road and in 2004 Country Road was relaunched with a fresh modern identity.</p>
<p>The positive response successfully shifted the brand direction towards a younger audience while identifying a gap in the market which led to the launch of Trenery in 2009.</p>
<p>Since 2004, our store network in Australasia and South Africa has expanded rapidly to include 71 retail stores, 7 clearance stores and 93 concession stores in Australia’s leading department stores David Jones and Myer and Woolworths South Africa.</p>
