DELIVERY INFORMATION
AUSTRALIA
The Hat Store offers standard, express and premium delivery services to all customers within Australia.
Standard shipping depend mostly on location and take 4 to 8 business days, sometimes longer to rural or remote areas. Parcels are dispatched from our Southport warehouse. The method chosen will depend on your location. All parcels are sent with full tracking information – details of which are sent with your dispatch confirmation. Deliveries are only made on weekdays. Express delivery times are usually between 2-3 business days for metro/CBD areas and 3-5 business days for rural/remote areas. Premium delivery – delivery times are usually 1 – 2 days to Metro Areas in Australia ( Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Darwin, Townsville, Cains , Canberra )
All shipments are sent with tracking at time of dispatch from our warehouse. Tracking is automated from the shipping courier at the time. These companies can be Statrack Express, Aus Post, Fastway, Couriers Please. INTERNATIONAL
The Hat Store extends Standard, Express & Premium Express to most international destinations.
Standard Shipping times between 8 – 12 business days. Express 5 – 7 business days. DHL 2 -3 business days – Times are GUIDELINES ONLY and depends on the final destination. Major cities are faster than rural locations.
DISPATCH TIMES
Orders that are in stock are dispatched within 24-48 hours of being received (excluding weekends). All parcels are fully trackable – details are sent with your dispatch confirmation. We are not able to offer any delivery time guarantees as we have no direct control over our freight providers
Orders placed after 12pm (AEST) will be dispatched on the following business day.
Unless otherwise instructed, we send all parcels with an Authority To Leave, meaning the delivery driver will leave the parcel without a signature being required, providing it is safe to do so. If the driver is unable to obtain a signature, then they will leave a card with instructions on how to obtain your parcel. Depending on the carrier we have chosen, this may be either to your local Post Office or you will need to arrange a redeliver by the courier selected.
CARRIERS
We use a combination of Australia Post, Star Track and DHL Express to ensure that your parcels gets to you as safely, conveniently & quickly as possible.
TRACKING
Full tracking information is provided in your despatch confirmation email. Please check “Junk Folder” as sometimes tracking emails automatically get filtered there.
PACKAGING
All parcels are lovingly packed into sturdy boxes or tough satchels to protect your items by our experienced warehouse team. These same boxes/satchels can then be used to return any items back to The Hat Store. If your parcel arrives damaged please do not accept it from the courier. It will then be Returned-To-Sender and we will be able to dispacth another hat for you. The buyer is responsible for inspecting the goods for fault and notifying us within 5 working days of receiving the goods should there be a fault. We will replace faulty goods.
CHANGES TO DELIVERY
Where possible we will try to accommodate changes on orders. Once you receive your dispatch confirmation then we are unable to change the address.
INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS

Freight costs to your country will depend on the country.
After selecting items and selecting “cart” then “go to cart”, you will have the opportunity to receive a quote on how much your freight will cost to your country.
CUSTOMS
On the rare occasion customs may choose to delay individual shipments as a random security measure. Please be aware if you are ordering for International deliveries you warrant, understand and agree to the following:
* Customers are liable for any relevant customs charges, duties or tariffs for their country. * Customers understand that if the goods sent from us are impounded by customs, delivery charges and cost of goods will not be refunded. * Customers understand that if the goods are returned, the customer will be charged for all shipping charges (to and from the customer)
Return Policy
Our Hassle Free 60 day Return Policy
The Hat Store is pleased to offer a satisfaction guarantee for all items purchased from us, excluding sale items. Providing goods are returned to us in their original condition and packaging, unworn, unwashed and with labels intact, we offer a 60 day policy (from the original date of dispatch).
Exchanges
To make sure you receive what you want more efficiently, we no longer offer traditional exchanges. You will get the right size and/or colour faster if you simply place another order rather than exchanging items.
Where do I send a return?
Pack up your goods in the original box. It is best to return in the original packaging provided.

What items won’t be processed?
Products that have had tags removed, have been worn or washed. Garments where the packaging has been damaged that it would render the product unsaleable. Sale items Please note there is no refund on made to order Akubra Hats Can I refund my delivery costs or the costs of returning items?
No, delivery costs cannot be refunded under any circumstances.
The Process
Once we receive your return you will be refunded within 7 days. An email confirmation will be sent once the refund has been processed.
All refunds are refunded to the original payment method.
