Aesthetica is the culmination of experience from a team of diverse and qualified women.

The salon was created in Coorparoo in 2000 by Helen Dell, and opened as Design on Beauty.

In 2005 it was purchased by another industry veteran Tracy Dobbin and in 2008 the business was rebranded as aesthetica, a name honoured as an appreciation of all things beautiful.

Today, aesthetica offers niche services, including signature “all inclusive” facial treatments, professional hair care and make-up styling promising a highly personal, private and luxurious experience.

What to expect

On Arrival: Given the high demand of our services please be sure to arrive a few minutes early to your appointment. This will ensure you and the person following your appointment will receive the full time allocated to your treatments. It will also give you an opportunity to discuss any particular areas of concern with your aesthetician or stylist before commencing.

Your Therapist: If you are a regular client of aesthetica we will always endeavour to allocate your preferred aesthetician or stylist.  As a new client you will be booked in with the most qualified therapist or stylist within your area of treatment.  That is, we will ensure your first treatment is conducted by someone who specialises within the field for which you are coming to see us. aesthetica only engages the most qualified, experienced and personable aestheticians and stylists, meaning you are always in good hands!

Your Treatment: To ensure your complete comfort, sarongs and towels and, where appropriate, blankets are provided during facial and body treatments.  aesthetica also supplies and utilises disposable items wherever possible, ensuring the highest levels of hygiene are adhered to at all times.

On Departure: On completion of your treatment you will be invited to relax over a freshly brewed cup of herbal tea or coffee in our reception area.  We will also schedule your next appointment at this time. Please keep in mind that should you need to change an appointment we require a minimum of 24 hours advance notice so that we may offer the appointment to someone else.

Aesthetica stocks an impressive range of body, skin and haircare products that can be purchased to complement your in-salon treatments.

Our therapists and stylists will be able to advise you on which products are best suited to your needs, and keep you abreast of any current promotions!
