The meaning behind aGlo

This space is in loving memory of my sister Olga.

who although has been gone for many years,  continues to inspire me to follow my dreams and live life to the fullest.

The aGlo name was created by chance as i chatted to a client of mine, who had “the feeling ” come to her as we talked , she suggested the name AGLOW, she then went onto explain how she also got the feeling that it shouldn’t be spelt with the “W” at the end, and I wasn’t very shocked to find, that it was Olga’s name backwards !

So i go forward with her in my heart and soul, and now as my business name!  …Alva

Dr karen Gebusion is a General Practitioner with special interest in Dermatology and skin conditions such as acne,rosecea,and skin cancer.

With a diploma in Dermatology and Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery,her interest then extended into Cosmetic Medicine.

Her philosophy is one of a gradual and natural looking rejuvenation.This combined with her calm and gentle nature instils clients with a strong sense of confidence and trust.

​Melissa Drury is the Clinic Director and  Registered Nurse with over 30 years experience in various specialities such as midwifery,general surgical,dermatology.

Over the last decade Melissa has been performing cosmetic treatments, and with her passion and keen eye for detail,she has obtained numerous certifications for advanced injectables,anti ageing treatments and light based therapies.

She is well known on the Coast for providing her clients with an individual and holistic approach to anti ageing.
