Our vision is to empower our clients to improve their lifestyle, health and wellbeing.

Altilife was started through a life changing journey undertaken by its founder, Christian Schwaerzler.  A self-professed couch potato, he reassessed his unhealthy lifestyle and made a powerful choice to change it! Through his journey of losing 60 kilograms, he reclaimed his wellbeing, fitness and health.

Despite a demanding corporate job with tight deadlines and lots of travel, Christian developed his own way to reach his goals. No boot camps, no personal trainers, no fancy pills, no fad diets, no special shakes, just plain hard work, belief and passion.

Our holistic approach is through mentoring, to encourage and guide you to make healthy life choices that encompass all aspects of your daily living, understanding your busy lifestyle. Our methodology is a unique in the wellness and lifestyle industry.

Our process can take the form of individual mentoring, group workshops and seminars and full immersion retreats. Altilife supports this with online content and webinars. To compliment this, we can offer specifically and uniquely tailored training, nutrition and fitness programmes designed to be fun and fit in with your busy lives.

ALTILIFE FOUNDER

Hi, I’m Christian.
On 25th March 2012, I achieved a personal goal of completing my first Ironman triathlon in Melbourne.

Looking back, in 2007 I was 135kg. I ate and drank far too much! I did not like myself very much. I lacked energy and self-confidence, along with major health issues as a result of my poor diet and fitness.

I was challenged to compete in my 1st corporate mini-triathlon. I made a choice to take action and improved my lifestyle, by changing my mindset and health. As a consequence in February 2008, despite some setbacks, I managed to finish the race. Exhausted, but inspired I did my next race only 3 weeks later!
Since that time, I have completed a variety of Sprint, Olympic & 1/2 iron distance races and crossing the finish line of the inaugural Melbourne Ironman.
Not only did I lose 50kg in 18 months, as well as improve my health and fitness, I also learned to really like myself. I became a more positive person to be around, full of energy and enjoying my new lifestyle. By choosing to focus on improving myself, I became a better me; a person of more defined purpose.

If I can do it, anyone can do it! Now I have lost 60kg, completed my 7th Ironman and many other events, at the same time working to raise money for charity and focusing on others. My mission is to help, guide and empower others to make positive choices and lasting change in their lives. I have started my own lifestyle and fitness company, Altilife, where we are dedicated to improving people’s lives in lifestyle, health and wellbeing through positive mindset.

Background

Christian has bachelor degrees in biochemistry and physiology, as well as a degree in hotel management from Switzerland. After working in Europe for 10 years, he returned to Australia, working in the retail, hotel and commercial fitout and refurbishment industry, whilst completing diplomas in project management and facilities management. He has over 20 years’ experience in corporate environments, with a strong emphasis on retail development.

He has qualifications in triathlon and multisport coaching from Triathlon Australia and is currently completing a certification from the Ironman University.

He brings a unique perspective and attitude to any discussion, focusing on his passion of empowering you to get the best out of yourself, managing your own time effectively and leading a more fulfilling life whilst pursuing your goals.

WEIGHT LOSS MANAGEMENT, TRANSFORMATIONAL COACHING, MOTIVATION

Catherine has qualifications in Fashion Design and started her career as a fashion buyer for a major Australian retailer.  Two years ago Catherine decided to transform and redesign her life and career, to quit corporate life and start helping others transform their lives in the way she has transformed hers.

Since that time Catherine has achieved qualifications in Sports Nutrition, Weight Loss Management and Life Coaching.  Catherine is an Associate Member of the International Coach Guild.

Not only will she help you on your journey towards your own weight loss and healthy eating goals, but Catherine will work with you on your mindset that allows you to make positive changes in your life that are permanent and sustainable.

Catherine’s is passionate about helping her clients develop healthy eating habits.  She incorporates fresh foods and manageable eating plans into her programmes. She will work with you on developing your ultimate goals towards a slimmer healthier you.  Her approach is not developing weight loss plans, but rather developing a whole lifestyle plan that enables you to easily maintain a new healthy approach to life.

Catherine has extensive experience in the corporate world working with teams to achieve business success and personal growth. She has incorporated the methods taught by Tony Robbins, Stephen Covey, Sharon Pearson, Susan Jeffers and Rhonda Britten to help her clients create lasting change in their lives.
