Amanda Curmi Hair Salon

Amanda’s career has spanned over 15 years in the hairdressing industry. It has been a varied and colourful journey that has taken her to experience the delights of fashion runways, photographic, editorial, education and freelance work. Having so much experience under her belt she has a vast knowledge of working with many of the leading, professional haircare products and brands, always on the pulse of new and exciting tools, trends and techniques.

At 17 years of age Amanda was the youngest competitor to win the NSW OPEN AGE COLOUR AND CUT competition. She went on to represent NSW in the Regional competitions in Tasmania and was received very highly. She has competed at hair expo and the PHA competitions and won many awards for her styling, colouring and cutting talents.

Her skills in colouring and cutting are highly refined and she is constantly attending trade shows, courses and seminars to ensure to bring her clients the latest in trends and fashion forecast. Over the years she has completed her cert 4 in hairdressing and is undergoing her TAE to be able to train other hairdressers. Amanda has a strong belief that education is imperative to be a successful hairdresser and keeping the passion burning.
Never afraid of a challenge and always loving to push the boundaries Amanda spent 4 years working and training in London. This is where her skills were taken to a new level and she learnt and worked along side some amazing, talented international stylist and colourists. A defining period in her career, this is where Amanda decided to further her skills and to start her freelance career.
Now here in Sydney, her next chapter is starting an alternative to a salon experience. Bringing her skills and mobile salon to you in the comfort of your own home or office. Wanting to give a complete personal service and make each client have accessibility to an alternative salon experience, great hair, great service and advice all at your fingertips. She will also have a studio opening later in 2015 that you can visit if you prefer.
