Our People

Sandy Tung
Resident Therapist

Sandy has that warm healing touch that nurtures the body and rejuvenates the spirit. Hailing from Taiwan, she is trained in the ancient art of Oriental Meridian Massage and has specialised in this unique form of therapy for over 15 years.

In Australia, Sandy is a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist, specialising in the Brandon Naylor Technique and facial lymphatic drainage. She is a member of the Australian Natural Therapies Association (ANTA).

Sandy is a vegetarian, practices meditation and teaches Tai Chi and Qigong techniques.

The tranquility of our rainforest sanctuary has presented the perfect setting for Sandy to practise these health promoting techniques.

Alan Wise
Resident Designer

Alan, our resident designer, transformed the cottage into the tranquil mountain oasis that is “Ananda” (Bliss).

He has practised architectural, interior and landscape design for over 30 years in Australia; creating, designing and renovating commercial and residential spaces alike.

Alan was raised as a vegetarian in a household that practised yoga and meditation. Through this passive and mindful upbringing, he is passionate about health and the protection of the environment. His connectedness with, and appreciation of, nature has inspired his design aesthetic, one which brings the living nature into living spaces.
