If you have ‘old’ tattooing you may need to have Tattoo Removal 1st. If you opt not to, you may require more than the initial treatment and touch up, as colour sometimes fades out very quickly. If so, any extra treatments will incur a fee.

Eye Brow Tattooing is ideal if you have over plucked/waxed your Brows,
if you have poor eyesight, suffering from Alopecia or Arthritis
or wanting to thicken or define your Brows.

No longer will you spend time drawing or stencilling your Brows.
You will look great 24/7 after swimming, showering or on hot days, for years to come.

There are different techniques used to give you your desired look.
Hairstroke (also known as Feathering) is a technique where hair-like strokes are tattooed using either a machine or hand tool.
Other options are Shaded or the increasingly popular Powder Brows.
Powder Brows have a soft pwdery finish much like brow powder makeup.
You can also mix it up and have hairstrokes at the head of the brow changing to shaded
through the centre and ends of the brow.
If you have little or no brow hair, a combination of shaded and strokes are your best option.
This has the best healed result when done in 2 treatments at least 4 weeks apart.

After discussing with you the look you are wanting to achieve I will advise on colour and shape.
I will test out different colours on your skin so we can see which is best suited to your complexion and skin tone.
I will draw on your Brow shape for your approval before the Tattooing commences.

Immediately after the treatment, colour will be more intense.
During the next 4-6 weeks your colour will soften and lighten by 20-40%
There is no real down time for Eyebrows. Any swelling or redness will dissipate after approximately 1/2 to 1 hour,
and healing takes as little as 4-14 days.

Your Touch Up visit is 4-6 weeks after your initial treatment as it takes this amount of time for the true colour to come through.
Any additional treatments required will incur a fee $50-$100

For a good end result and lasting colour it is imperative you follow your After Care Instructions carefully.

Eyebrow Tattoo can last up to 2 years or only 6 months. It depends on many factors, such as skin type,
​skin products used and sun exposure.

Do not wear Eyeshadow for 1 week.

EYELINER & LASH ENHANCEMENT/LINER

If you are contemplating Eyeliner Tattooing,

Eyeliner or Lash Enhancement tattooing is ideal if you wear eyeliner
every day, have poor eye sight, if you have trouble applying it
or like most of us are time poor.

Ophthalmologists recommend eyeliner tattooing for those who wear contact lenses or have allergic reactions to make up.

Lash Enhancement/Liner is a fine line tattooed along the lash line top
and/or bottom to give you the appearance of thicker lashes
and to give your eyes a little more definition.

Eyeliner can be thick or thin. Subtle or Dramatic.

Eyeliner is Drawn on prior to tattooing for your approval.

Black, Brown or a mix of the two are the most popular choices for eyeliner.

Healing time is only 4-14 days and there is no real down time.
After the treatment it helps to use damp cold cotton rounds on the eyes for a few minutes every hour.

Do not wear Eye Makeup for 1 week.

Your Touch Up treatment is carried out in 6 weeks time.

Touch Up and Colour Boosts

Touch ups/Perfection visits are $50 at my Western Sydney locations.
Must be done within 6 weeks of having initial treatment, unless otherwise arranged.
​If a second touch up is required within 12 weeks post procedure a $50 fee is charged.
After that it will be seen as a Colour Boost Treatment and will be charged accordingly.
​Returning clients will enjoy discounted treatments as a loyalty reward.
​Cancellations less than 48hrs prior to appointment will incur a fee of $50 per treatments. Eg. Eyebrow & Eyeliner $100

TATTOO AFTER CARE INSTRUCTIONS

The tattooed area may have swelling for 2-3 days which will distort the true shape of the brows or eyeliner. You may use an ice pack with a folded piece of paper towel protecting your skin, for 5 minutes every few hours. Also over the following weeks there will be flaking and fading of colour. Be patient.
​True colour will not be seen until week 4-5
At you touch up visit in 6 weeks any necessary adjustments will be made.
No tattooing can be done before this time as it can cause scarring.
No strenuous activity for 48 hrs, No makeup, facials or laser for 1 week,
No swimming or saunas for 10 days, unless using Stratamed or Stratacel

EYEBROWS

I apply a barrier cream or Stratamed to the brows at the end of the procedure,
to protect the area from bacteria and seal in moisture.
Do Not Wet the newly tattooed area for the first 7 days unless using Stratamed.
The following day apply Stratamed and continue for 3-6 weeks.
or if using Tattoo Balm start on Day 2.
Tattoo Balm:-
Week 1: Apply 3-4 times a day. Massage a small amount into the tattooed area using a cotton tip (not fingers) then blot with paper towel.
Week 2 & 3: Apply twice a day.

After 7 days I suggest using QV wash or a similar gentle cleansing product.
Keep tattooed area moist to avoid scabbing which will peel off colour before it bonds.
You will have some flaking over the next weeks. (this is normal) If scabs form,
Do Not pick as it will pull out the pigment along with the scab.
Day 5-7 a lot of the pigment may have completely fallen out, don’t worry the colour will return.
(There is no need to contact me.)
The reason for this is because pigment has been implanted into the dermis.
The cells that have been implanted with pigment divide and multiply and that’s how the colour returns.
After the first week apply sunblock every day (even in winter)
as sun exposure will cause fading, as will creams with vitamins and Retin A.
No makeup close to the area for 1 week. Do not have tinting for 2 weeks.
Tip:- As eyebrow tattooing is done on the skin, do not cover with foundation
because it will camouflage the tattooing.
After 7 days you can pencil over any patches (please sharpen 1st)

If using Stratamed you can shower and swim and wear makeup.

EYELINER

A few hours after the procedure gently rinse or blot tattooed eyeliner area with tepid water to remove any plasma and blood (even if it is not visible) – Use sterile gauze for this. (Do not use a facewasher that would contain bacteria) Then allow them to air dry for 30 mins. Next apply balm very sparingly – it should look moisturised but not shiny or wet looking. Reapply every 4 to 6 hours when the skin appears or feels dry. If the skin isn’t dry, no need to apply. A quick rinse in the shower with tepid water is fine, but no soaking, soap or cleansers for at least 14 days.
Do Not wear any eye makeup for 7 days.
Do Not get eyelash extensions for 2 weeks.
Purchase a new mascara as your used one will be contaminated.
Do not use oily makeup remover for several weeks.
If using Stratacel only apply once a day. You can shower as normal and wear makeup.

LIPS

The 1st day an Ice pack can be used for swelling but must be wrapped in clean freezer bag each time
(and only used for 5 mins per hour).
​Try to keep Lips dry where possible and keep moisturised,
with Tattoo After Care Balm or recommended healing Lip Balm.
Drink from a new clean straw for 3 days.
​Avoid drinking or eating anything too hot or spicy.
Do not use old lipsticks for 2 weeks.
Once a day application if using Stratacel.

TOUCH UP – 1 per treatment only – MUST BE DONE WITHIN 6 WEEKS unless pre arranged.
If a 2nd touch up is required within 3 months a small fee of $50 is charged.
COLOUR BOOST – This is basically refreshing the brow/eyeliner colour by tattooing again once.
Special colour boost prices are for my clients who have had there initial and touch up treatments done with me.

CANCELLATION POLICY

For what ever reason, cancelling your touch up appointment without giving 24 hrs notice
will incur a $50 fee to be paid at time of re booking.

I have a certificate in Infection Control and I use disposable needles.

IN THE RARE CASE YOU HAVE AN ADVERSE REACTION TO THE TATTOOING/ANAESTHETIC USED
I URGE YOU TO SEEK MEDICAL ADVICE ASAP.

SALINE TATTOO REMOVAL-This is Not Laser

Old tattooed Brows sometimes need to be REMOVED before they can be tattooed again. When they have been tattooed 2 or 3 times or even sometimes once…if the skin is SATURATED with too much pigment it can NOT take on any more pigment. For example…if you have old block tattooing that are still very visible and want block done again OR hairstrokes/feather tattooing the colour will NOT last. It may last a few weeks or even months if you are very lucky, but no longer than that.
So the best option is Tattoo REMOVAL. It may take 1,3 or more treatments. Depending how saturated with colour the skin is. This is NOT a Laser removal procedure, it is a tattooing procedure to lift out the old colour.
A Pre Numb cream is used but Not an Anesthetic during the procedure as this inhibits blood flow. ​(so it may hurt a little)
IMPORTANT: After the procedure the skin must be kept clean & uncovered and allowed to SCAB. The scab must be allowed to fall off naturally, which usually occurs in approximately a week. Then another procedure (if needed) can not be done for another 30 days. During this time Vitamin E Oil is used twice daily.

​COLOUR CORRECTION
​
If your old tattooing has turned Pink, Blue,Grey or Purple,
Colour Correction is required Before Re Tattooing the Brow.
The Unwanted Colour will be changed to brown then the new chosen colour will be tattooed over the top. If the old colour is too intense Colour Removal will need to be done.
If the colour has faded enough tattooing over the top will be successful.
When the Colour Correction is done at the same time as the new tattooing there is an additional cost of only $100
​If the procedure is done alone it will be for the listed price of any eyebrow tattoo service.

Cosmetic Tattooing, also known as Permanent and Semi-Permanent makeup – for Eyebrows, Eyeliner & Lips
