Etiquette

The massage is a retreat for your body, mind and spirit. For the consideration of others, we request that clients keep noise to a minimum and respect others clients’ privacy by speaking softly. Mobile phone and electronic devices are discouraged.

​Reservations

Advanced booking prior to your arrival is recommended to secure your preferred date and time of treatment. A credit card number is required at the time of booking for a confirmed appiontment.

​Check in

Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled treatment to avoid reduced treatment times. A late arrival will result in a shortened treatment to accommodate other clients fairly.

​Treatment hours

The shop is open from 10 am to 7 pm daily except Thursday 10 am to 9 pm. Last treatment is finished at 7pm and 9 pm on Thursday.

​Special consideration

If you are pregnant, you must inform therapist and may wish to avoid booking treatments that involve the use of essential oils. Massage treatments are not recommended during the first three months of pregnancy.

​If you have high blood pressure, heart conditions, allergies, or other medical complications, we advise that you consult your doctor before signing up for any treatment services. Please inform your therapist of any medical conditions.

​Smoking and alcohol

Smoking and the consumption of alcohol within the premise is prohibited. it is also advisable to avoid the consumption of alcohol or heavy meals prior to or after any massage treatment.

​Valuables

We recommend that no jewellery be worn at the massage. The management and staff accept no responsibility for the loss of money or valuable of any kind brought onto the premises.

​Payment

We accept cash and all major credit cards. All prices are inclusive of GST. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

​Cancellation policy

A 24-hour cancellation notice is required to help us re-schedule you appointment, subject to space availability. Any cancellation with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a 50% cancellation fee. A full fee will be imposed for a ” no-show ”

A technique of aromatherapy used to reduce minor aches and pains, especially in colder seasons, where the pain becomes more severe. Muscles are stimulated by massage before heat is absorbed through the application of a herbal ball. Circulation is increased, relieving ailments.

This therapy will melts away tension, eases muscle stiffness and increases circulation and metabolism. Each hot stone massage therapy session promotes deeper muscle relaxation through the placement of smooth, heated stones, either as an extension of therapist’s hands, or by placing them on the body while therapist massage other parts of the body.

Combining hot stone protocols with a full body massage provides a very healing and effective experience. The hot stones also expand blood vessels, which encourages blood flow throughout the body. The hot stones have a sedative effect that can relieve chronic pain, reduce stress and promote deep relaxation.

Hot Stone massage is not appropriate if you have diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, or are on medication that thins your blood. You shouldn’t get a hot stone massage if you are pregnant or have sunburn. You also may want to reconsider if you are menopausal, as it may trigger a hot flash.
