Aqua Beauty Salon

Aqua is a boutique beauty salon in Teneriffe focusing on facials, from relaxtion through to anti-ageing.

I opened Aqua in March 2004. So that makes 12 years in business, which I feel really proud about given the difficult economic times of the last few years. But it’s not just a business to me, it’s a passion.

There is nothing more fulfilling than being able to help people who want to improve their skin and sharing their satisfaction when they are looking their best.

I’m very careful about choosing the right products and treatments to suit the individual person. But I also pride myself on providing the most relaxing experience possible.

I have many clients who lead very busy, hectic lives and I love watching the tension ease away as they enjoy a pampering facial.

I earned my Diploma in Beauty Therapy at The Queensland School of Beauty, graduating in 1994.

Of course since that time I have kept myself up to date with regular refresher courses in new treatments and products.

I have travelled to Paris in 2007,2009 and 2014 to see first-hand the latest treatments from some of the companies whose products and equipment I use at Aqua.

Although beauty therapy is a passion, my first pride and joy is my son.  He’s now married, but he was just a young boy and I was a sole parent when I started out in beauty therapy.

We’ve shared so much over the years, that sometimes I think he knows as much about the products and treatments as I do, which is very lucky for his French wife!
