From the beginning……………….

Arke Hair Artistry was established in 2011 by two passionate & dedicated hairdressers with the  desire to offer quality hairdressing, with over 30years experience in the industry,  both come from a very high standard of training.

When you put your heart & soul into something, you need to come up with a name that is personal & means something.

The planning of Arke Hair Artistry began in early 2011, & one of the hardest decisions for Kylie & Emma was the name.

So where did the name ARKE HAIR ARTISTRY come from?

Kylie-Anne & Emma Ruth: from this, they combined their initials & came up with ARKE.

Arke: arc, arch, ark, (pronunciation: a, rk)

Arc: curve, curl, bend, bow, i.e rainbow

Arch: bow, bend, round. Fresh, leading playful

Ark: place of refuge, sacred, sanctuary

How fitting!

As for the Hair Artistry element… Well, to Kylie & Emma – what they do is art!

Then – Precision, Perfection, Passion – says it all.
