About Us

Arom Thai Massage & Spa was first started in December 2007 at our first location in Strathfield, NSW.  This first shop was called “The Best A Thai Massage” and located in Symond Arcade next to Strathfield Plaza.

About a year later, we expanded with our second shop located in the Sydney CBD area (Haymarket).  This is when we started to call our shops Arom Thai Massage & Spa.  Around January 2011 we opened our newest shop in Chinatown, right across the street from Market City Shopping Center or better known as Paddy’s Market.

The owners, Nan and Andy, both have more than 19 years of combined experience in the art of Traditional Thai Massage.  Nan trained at the best Thai Massage School in Thailand, Wat Po.

All our massage therapist are trained in the art of Traditional Thai Massage.

Services

Traditional Thai Massage (Whole Body)

Deeply relaxing and effective in reducing stress and relieving minor aches and pain.  A Traditional Thai massage is an ancient form of massage combining yoga-based stretching with Eastern pressure point therapy along the “sen” (energy) pathway in the body.  No oil is used during the massage therapy.  Hard, medium, and  light pressures are available.

Remedial Thai Massage (Whole Body)

A Thai massage mixed with stretching and deep tissue techniques to improve blood circulation.  Oil is applied using medium to hard pressure on the back.  Thai stretching techniques are performed on your legs.  This kind of massage will help you restore the flexibility of your body muscles, various joints, and backbones.  At the same time this massage will also improve blood circulation and relieve muscle soreness and body aches.  Hard, medium, and light pressures are available.

Aromatherapy (Essential Oil)

A massage using gentle kneading and stretching of the muscles while applying essential oil.  This type of massage is similar to a Swedish massage but focuses on the pressure points and stretching of the muscles.  Oil is applied to the whole body using light to medium pressure and is designed to promote circulation and gently knead tired muscles.

Reflexology

This massage uses thumb and fingertips to apply pressure to the reflex points on your feet.  The reflex points correspond to body areas and your internal organs.  It works to stimulate the body processes and relieve pain.  This is blissfully relaxing after a long day on your feet.

Quick Massage

Do you need a massage for a specific area?  Stiff neck, shoulders, upper back, lower back, arms or legs?  No time for a whole body massage or just want to try our massages.  A quick massage is available for relieving pain in a specific area of your body.  Hard, medium, and light pressure is available.

Choose either Traditional Thai, Remedial Thai, or Aromatherapy.

10, 20, 30 or up to 45 minutes of massage.
