“Hair stylist and owner, Henry, at Art Success is a very good hairdresser. He considers each client carefully, cuts and styles hair very well, doesn’t overbook – so there’s rarely any waiting and his prices are excellent. He is polite and pleasant. Parking is nearby or a two minute walk from Roseville Station. I would highly recommend Art Success Hair Salon.”

“His prices are cheap as chips, which is a major drawing point for many of the hairdressers customers. With pricing advertised on the shop window, it is very tempting to book an appointment for some hair maintenance. However, I was a little suspicious of his prices, considering his salon was located in Roseville on the North Shore. I had not seen any other salons with these heavily discounted prices advertised in the area. Overall, from the experience I learnt; Never get your hair dyed or coloured here, whether it be highlights or a full dye. It is best to just get a cheap treatment or blowdry, rather than anything drastic.”

“I must admit that I was a bit dubious when I first went into this store, as there was just one staff member there who seemed a little hesitant, and I wasn’t entirely sure if the place was actually open or not. Also, the prices posted in the window for their services were ridiculously cheap (haircuts starting from $10.99!). I had a wash and cut (a basic trim, rather than a complicated style cut) which ended up costing only $20. I was pleasantly surprised at how cheap the haircut was, it was exactly what I asked for, and looks neat and tidy. If you are looking for pampering, plush surroundings and small talk, then this isn’t the place for you – though it is clean, tidy and well lit. The furnishings were fairly basic, and the walls were bare of the usual posters and pictures of glamorous people with fabulous hair, but that suited me fine. Approximate cost: $20″
