Physiotherapy treatment aims to reduce pain, inflammation, tension from muscles and joints and restore function. Physiotherapy treatment may consist of manual therapy, real-time ultrasound, soft tissue massage, low level laser therapy (also known as cold laser), postural correction, ergonomics, education, electrotherapy, cupping, dry needling and exercise therapy.

At Artarmon Musculoskeletal & Laser Physiotherapy we understand that our bodies are put under a great deal of stress in daily life including sitting at a desk, sports injuries, falls and carrying heavy items. Our aim is to assess and treat each patient with care and understanding.

The physiotherapists at Artarmon are interested in you and treat everyone as an individual.

Our team:

​Dr Ann Liebert (Principal)

​Ann has been treating with Low Level Laser Therapy for many years. Ann completed her PhD studying the mechanisms of laser adding to the growing body of medical evidence for the use of laser to treat many pain conditions. Ann plans to continue her research this year which will include clinical and laboratory trials whilst remaining at Artarmon Physiotherapy two days a week. She will continue her work with complex spinal pain and headaches in children and elders, TMJ pain as well as serving the Artarmon community physiotherapy needs as she has for 25 years.

​Delena Caagbay

​Delena has been working in private practice over 15 years in the USA, Central Coast and Sydney. She is a current PhD student at the University of Sydney looking at the impact of pelvic floor muscle exercise for women who have a pelvic organ prolapse in Nepal. This is a challenging and rewarding topic in which she feels privileged to be involved with.

Georgia Geldens

​Georgia graduated as a physiotherapist from Australian Catholic University in 2015 and has undertaken many courses such as Low Level Laser, Pilates, Women’s Health, Prokinetic orthotics and is Workcover certified. Georgia is enthusiastic about offering laser as a new treatment tool. Georgia’s interests are in sports injuries, women’s health and pilates and plans to further study craniosacral techniques.
