Located in the historic, yet ever changing, suburb of Ascot in Brisbane’s North. Ascot Accounting originated in 1986 and since that time the firm has developed a well-earned reputation within the community as a leader in high quality accounting services.

The firm services the local suburbs of Ascot, Hamilton,Clayfield, Eagle Farm and Hendra, but has clients spread widely throughout the south-east corner, as well as ex-pats in various parts of the world.

We pride ourselves on our ability to create and maintain strong relationships with our diverse range of clients.  We work with our clients to help them succeed by adding value and being there every step of the way.

OUR CLIENTS
The core of our clients are small business entities or individual investors, with the majority of them being professionals.   We have a strong medical accounting background, but are also heavily involved with clients in many other industries.  We also specialise in Self Managed Superannuation (SMSF) and have vast experience in this area.

OUR TEAM

Angie McPhee – B.Bus. CPA
DIRECTOR
Angie commenced as principal of Ascot Accounting in 2003, with Russell joining her as a Partner in January 2011.  She graduated from Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Business majoring in accountancy. She is a member of CPA Australia and has held her Public Practice Certificate since 2003. Angie has over 20 years experience in public practice specialising in small business, taxation and superannuation.

Russell Willett – B.Com. CA
DIRECTOR
Russell graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Commerce in 2003. He has been with Ascot Accounting since November of the same year. In January 2011, Russell became a Partner at Ascot Accounting.  He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia, and now has over 10 years experience in the fields of taxation and superannuation.

Stephen Buchan – B.Com. CPA
ACCOUNTANT
Stephen joined Ascot Accounting as a graduate in February 2006. He has a Bachelor of Commerce with an Accounting Major from the University of Southern Queensland. In March 2013 Stephen completed the CPA  Program and has now qualified as a member of CPA Australia. Stephen has a strong interest in taxation and superannuation fund administration and enjoys the challenges encountered as an accounting professional.

Rachel Marston – B.Bus.
ACCOUNTANT
Rachel joined the Ascot Accounting team in March 2013 while completing  a Bachelor of Business at Queensland University of Technology.  Now finished her degree, and studying towards her Chartered Accountants qualification, Rachel is a full time member of the team.

Latara Hawker
RECEPTIONIST
Latara joined Ascot Accounting in August 2014 and is studying towards a Diploma of Business. Responsible for ensuring that the office runs smoothly and efficiently, Latara is the friendly face that will greet you as you walk in the door.

Dell O’Brien
BOOKKEEPER
Dell is a very experienced Bookkeeper that has been with Ascot Accounting since 2002. She has an extensive knowledge in all major accounting software programs. She is available to assist all clients with their bookkeeping requirements and is responsible for all Ascot Accouting’s human resource needs.
