“As far as hairdressers go Astro Hair is my go to place, tried and tested as I know the end result will be just what I wanted. I have cheated on a few occasions and paid the price for a bad haircut, so no more straying. No matter where I live I will always make a special trip to see them, nobody else does it better. They also make a great cup of coffee too!

The husband and wife team have been in the industry for many years owning several salons in the city in years gone by and have settled quite nicely in the up and coming suburb of Bowden. It’s good to build a rapport with your hairdresser it’s almost like a pseudo part of the family and they get to know your hair characteristics very well.

Purple is the main colour scheme with large guilded mirrors on the walls, shampoo, conditioner, hair spray, gel, brushes and hairdryers for sale, the chairs are comfortable and conversation flows. A good selection of magazines to catch up on the goss.
