Testimonials

“Overall, I had a fantastic time at the Australian Institute of Sport and I feel extremely opportune to have been part of this fantastic opportunity; to get an insight into the day to day running of the soft tissue therapy department. I have definitely grown as a therapist and the experience has made me realise that my passion for therapist is within the field of sport.

Money couldn’t buy the incredible experience that I have gained over my two weeks at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) and I will be forever humbled by the fact that I was one of the two students selected to take part in 2011.”

-Renee Mitchell, Advanced Diploma of Remedial Massage (Myotherapy) Graduate 2011

“Through my observation, I can see that the ACST students are above standard when providing therapeutic care to athletes. Moving forward I will have no hesitation in including ACST in our events and will look at ASCT graduates for employment opportunities.”

– John Kobiela: Ironman Competition (March, 2014)

“The Australian College of Sports Therapy teaching staff were particularly supportive and encouraging when it came to gaining knowledge of the profession; always willing to answer my questions. I gained a great deal of knowledge and experience through treating patients in the College Student Clinic and really enjoyed the hands-on aspect.

In my experience, the course combined a good mix of theoretical and practical experience; from workbooks to exams to practical classes and working in the student clinic.”

– Maya Clarke, Diploma of Remedial Massage: Graduate 2010

“…I thoroughly enjoyed my time at ACST, particularly due to the help and enthusiasm of my teachers… Whilst studying, I also worked part time in retail and in my later years of study I completed some volunteer work at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC) treating State and National swimmers to achieve greater hands on experience.”

– Catharine Bainbridge, Advanced Diploma of Remedial Massage (Myotherapy) Graduate 2008

“I found the theoretical aspect and clinical experience undertaken during my three years at ACST provided me with the skills, knowledge and confidence to obtain a position at a leading Melbourne clinic. From my experience, I can tell you that if you’re motivated, ACST will provide you with the tools necessary for success in your chosen field.”

– Charles Jones, Advanced Diploma of Sports Therapy: Graduate 2011
