Cleanser and After Care

MediSept Tattoo & Body Piercing Cleanser & Aftercare is dermatologist tested as an effective and hygienic solution intended to cleanse and care for your Tattoo and Body Piercing.

It has a skin neutral pH and contains Ultra-Pure Water and a proprietary manufactured hypochlorite technology (known as Hypochlorous Acid) to cleanse and care for the skin.

Inspired by the study of “Biomimetics or Biomimicry” in which human made innovation, processes, or systems are made by mimicking or imitating nature, Hypochlorous acid is produced and utilised by our body’s immune system to address and combat invasive organisms such as bacteria.

Medisept is also pediatrician tested as hypochlorous is also utilised in baby products as baby’s skin is particularly sensitive and sometimes susceptible to irritation.

As an Aftercare product, Medisept is an effective and hygienic solution that will continue to help cleanse and care for the skin.

Always wash hands thoroughly before touching your tattoo or body piercing area. Apply 2-3 times daily as needed for a three week application period. For tattoo’s follow up with moisturizer of choice.

As a cleanser, this hypoallergenic, non-sensitizing and non-irritant formula helps the artist provide a more comfortable experience by keeping the area clean prior to and during the tattoo and body piercing procedure allowing the artist to irrigate and rinse the area with less irritation. Providing a clearer view for the artist and a more comfortable experience to the client during the procedure.

Medisept contains no alcohol, benzalkonium chloride, petroleum, lanolin, oils, steroids or antibiotics. Free from fragrances and colorants and not shown to fade or compromise body art or tattoo.

Surgical Stainless Steel & Titanium

Studex

Studex uses only the inest high grade stainless steel available. Categorised as surgical grade stainless steel, this is the material of choice for the manufacture of high quality ear piercing studs where long term contact with
the skin is required.

The Studex ear piercing studs are manufactured using this stainless steel in order to afford the consumer the greatest protection possible against common hazards such as allergies and reactions with the skin.

Studex surgical stainless steel studs combine the look with durability and due to the strong bonding action found in the metallurgic properties of this material it prevents any sensitising though elements such as nickel leaching into the skin.

Because of these properties, surgical grade stainless steel is regarded as one of the best materials to use in the manufacture of ear piercing earrings.

The Studex System 75 ear piercing range of ear piercing earrings are made from implantation grade 316L surgical stainless steel.

This grade of surgical steel is usually only found in body piercing jewellery. The Studex System 75 range of ear piercing earrings are the only earrings in the world that are manufactured from 316L surgical stainless steel. Studex ear piercing studs are also available in titanium in selected styles only.

Medisept

Medisept uses only the inest implant grade of 316L surgical stainless steel for their navel piercing jewellery.

The Medisept nose piercing jewellery range uses only implant grade titanium as it is extremely strong and inert to the human body.

If a nickel allergy exists then titanium is by far the best piercing option.

Training

Australian Piercing Systems provides in store training where possible to all staff and managers.

We are very serious about our training program and we require a high level of competency from the piercers. Certiicates are issued for all employees that have completed the training to a satisfactory level
