Australian Skin Cancer Clinics began in 1999 and has expanded to over 20 clinics in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria and Western Australia and is continuing to grow rapidly. Australian Skin Cancer Clinics was acquired by Sonic Clinical Services in 2011, strengthening the service offering with the support of a leading healthcare service provider.
Our aim is to provide caring, accessible and efficient service for early detection, diagnosis, treatment and management of skin cancer in the primary care setting.
We are also active in promoting skin cancer awareness and prevention.

Location and Parking
Previously located in Lakelands, Australian Skin Cancer Clinics – Charlestown offers caring, efficient and accessible service for early detection, diagnosis, treatment and management of skin cancer and melanoma.
Located next to Charlestown Square Medical Centre, on the South end of Pearson St.
Fees and Payments
Our standard consultation fee is $75 of which you will receive a partial rebate from Medicare.
Bulk Billing is available for holders of Pensioner Cards, VA Cards, Healthcare Cards, University Student Cards and children aged 16 and under.
Payment methods accepted: Cash, Eftpos, Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard). Please note we do not accept American Express.

Dr Mark Allen
Dr Allen has been practising medicine for nearly 15 years, initially focussing on General Surgery and Emergency Medicine before pursuing his interest in Skin Cancer Medicine and obtaining his Certificate in Primary Care Skin Cancer Medicine (2009) and Certificate in Primary Care Skin Cancer Surgery (2011) from the University of Queensland.
