Australian Skin Cancer Clinics began in 1999 and has expanded to over 20 clinics in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria and Western Australia and is continuing to grow rapidly. Australian Skin Cancer Clinics was acquired by Sonic Clinical Services in 2011, strengthening the service offering with the support of a leading healthcare service provider.
Our aim is to provide caring, accessible and efficient service for early detection, diagnosis, treatment and management of skin cancer in the primary care setting.
We are also active in promoting skin cancer awareness and prevention.
Location and Parking
Located on the laneway behind Hunter Imaging, 1 Albion St, Maitland, NSW, 2320. Carparking facilities available right outside the clinic on Albion Street.
Fees and Payments
Our standard consultation fee is:
$90 (with no Concession Card) of which you will receive a partial rebate from Medicare.
$60 (with Concession Card) of which you will receive a partial rebate from Medicare.
Bulk Billing is available for Pensioners and Veterans, and children aged 16 and under.
Payment methods accepted: Cash, Eftpos, Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard), Cheques. Please note we do not accept American Express.

Dr Peter O’Hara
Dr O’Hara has studied in both Australia and the UK, and has worked in Skin Cancer for over 16 years.
