“1 star.. The only reason they are getting one star, is because I can’t leave it blank. This “company” has the least professional, most abrupt, psychotic sales person (i think her names Jan??) – that I have ever dealt with in my 12 years in business. I simply don’t want to give them free money, for a report that I never asked for..? is this so hard to understand?? I’d love to pay these people a visit and see how they act face to face.. They’ve been scamming money out of us (mainly our accounts/administrators that think they need to pay the bill..?!) for about 4 years. NEVER AGAIN. This damned company needs to be shut down immediately!”

“Phone call was rude and forceful. Person on other end not prepared to listen and became quite aggressive. Terrible display of “customer service”.

“The rudest and most intimidating phone call I have ever received. I decided not to renew my subscription and am now being threatened by this company stating that I promised to renew and now I owe them money. Disgusting customer service and I am going to lodge a formal complaint.”

“They post you a flier that you don’t need or want. Then the ring you after a certain number of days threatening to sue you for a year’s subsciption because you didn’t return the brochure within a set number of days. I was continually harassed at my workplace by one of their staff with threats of lawsuits and further legal costs. What the caller was not aware of was the I was (at the time) the secretary of a local sporting club as well. They had also received this flier and were also getting threatening calls from the same staff member. In the end I thanked the caller for his continual harassment and advised him to commence legal action against me and to see how he got on. I also lodged a formal complaint with the Queensland Department of Fair Trading who advised me that they received many complaints about the Australian Taxation Reporter. I never received another phone call from them and of course the legal action threat was just a bluff. This is the conduct of business in it’s worst form. I presume the intention is to threaten small business owners who are not as aware of their rights as I am and make a quick $500 bucks or so, but it’s a lousy long-term strategy, I’d guess that among the business owners that this company threatens, that “subscription” renewals would be precisely zero. If anyone is thinking of subscribing to this newsletter, I’d suggest a quick phone call to your accountant first. I am still to meet an accountant who hasn’t heard of this company and their opinion of it is usually similar to mine. An unpleasant company, staffed by unpleasant people, who prey on people’s good nature.”
