Kate Adams

Physiotherapist

Kate trained in the UK, graduating with a First Class Honours degree from Cardiff University in 2005, after first completing a degree in Exercise and Sport Sciences at the University of Exeter.

She also followed this up with a Diploma in Sports Massage. She has worked both in the UK and Australia, and after sampling the work and lifestyle in Sydney in 2009/10, she has now returned with her young family to settle here more permanently.

Over the years, Kate has developed a broad range of Physiotherapy skills. She gained most of her experience working in the National Health Service in the UK, but also has worked in a Private Orthopaedic Hospital in the UK, and in Public Inpatient and Paediatric Private Practice settings in Sydney. She loves to treat all ages and is a firm believer that great gains can be made with a little Physiotherapy at any age.

Kate has extensive experience in treating pre- and post-op orthopaedic conditions and paediatric and adolescent motor development difficulties. She also has a special interest in the treatment of low back pain, and has been trained in the Sarah Key Method.

When not in work, Kate can usually be found outside, enjoying the weather and outdoor lifestyle of the Northern Beaches with her husband and two young children. Although a happy runner and cyclist, she’s considering whether to work on her swim technique and try out a triathlon. Watch this space …!
