My studies began at The Melbourne College of Natural Medicine in 2000 where I studied Remedial massage, this included; Myofacial release, Trigger point therapy and Deep tissue massage, Sports therapy as well as Aromatherapy and Reflexology. I have also studied Traditional cupping techniques and the Bowen Technique.

I have had the opportunity to gain a wide range of experience, having worked at clinics, sporting facilities and day spas. Providing services for The Melbourne Natural Health Care Centre (Boronia), Creating Health (Armadale), Casey Aquatic and Recreation Centre (Narre Warren) and The Villa Toscana Day Spa (Mt Dandenong).

BalanceTherapies evolved in 2001, while living in the Dandenong Ranges. ‘I realised the need for a mobile massage service due to my own dislike for having to drive home after unwinding and relaxing with a fabulous massage. I felt going outside in the cold and having to drive home almost undid the wonderful treatment I had just received. Offering mobile massage and day spa treatments enables our clients to get the most out of their treatment. The service is available to your home, office, conference centre, and accommodation throughout the Dandenong Ranges.

I had been wanting to create a space where clients felt like they were completely looked after, a place to escape to unwind. In July 2011 we opened our day spa premises in Olinda, Mount Dandenong.  This is the perfect location. Beautiful garden setting, stunning relaxation lounge, you wont want to leave. Offering a Holistic approach incorporating everything from remedial to relaxtion massage, hot stone massage, beauty treatments including waxing, tinting, manicures and pedicures, body treatments, scrubs and wraps, Hydrotherapy Spa, Naturopathy and Yoga.

The Day spa, in the heart of Mount Dandenong, is a gathering of all of the wonderful therapists I have worked with over the past 12 years. I have the privledge to work with an an amazing team of qualified therapists we offer single, couples and group bookings, Mobile or at the Day spa. Perfect for hens gatherings, bridal parties, conferences, group weekends away, couples or simply much needed time out for you!

SHARING IS CARING 60min $110 / 90min $155

Don’t have much time? Each person receives a 30 min massage. Maximum benefits in minimal time.

PREGNANCY MASSAGE 60min $100 / 90min $145

A wonderful treatment for the mother to be, can aid in the reduction of swelling, reduce muscle cramps and pain associated with the stress of extra weight bearing in joints and muscles. Soothes the nervous system and aids in relaxation. Massage isn’t recommended in the first trimester.

AROMATIC HOT TOWEL TREATMENT 60min $110

Unwind as you receive a back, neck and head massage combined with infused hot towels to soothe and release tension. Includes an essential oil treat for the hands and feet.

COUPLES MASSAGE 60min $200 / 90min $290

Enjoy a 60 min massage each at the same time, be sure to book in advance as two therapists will be required.

A deeply relaxing treatment to calm and revitalise the skin. Using a dead sea mineral mask to renew and a green tea extract to soothe. This treatment is complemented with a stress relieving massage to release tension in the scalp, neck, shoulders, arms and face.

FACIAL AND MASSAGE 90min $165

Combining the DELUXE FACIAL/MENS FACIAL and a full body massage, this treatment will leave you relaxed from top to toe.

To aid in the absorption of therapeutic plant oils, dry body brushing begins this treatment. Intuitively select your elixir blend that resonates to bring about balance. The elixir is liberally applied with a full body massage that follows with a cocoon wrapping and a luxurious face and foot massage.
