How It Works?
With a history of almost 3000 years, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has formed a unique system to diagnose and cure illness. The TCM approach is based different from Western medicine.
From the view of TCM, evaluation of a syndrome not only depends on mechanism, location or nature of the disease, but also need to consider about the confrontation between the pathogenic factor and body resistance; as to the treatment, differentiation of syndromes also should be taken into consideration, not only try to cure symptoms. Therefore, those with an identical disease may be treated in different ways in different time period.
TCM is really useful for most chronic diseases and well to reduce the side effects of chemotherapy.
Our goal is to help you find the “real reasons” which occurs in your body, leading to pathological changes and offer professional treatment individually for you to recuperate, back to health balance.

Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a primary healthcare modality that has been around for at least 2500 years and is used widely throughout the world. Acupuncture is considered safe and effective by the World Health Organisation (WHO). Acupuncture is now practiced in many countries around the world, Australia being one of the leaders in its usage.
Herbs
Today, there are over 450 substances commonly used in Chinese herbal medicine – most are of plant origin but mineral substances may also be used. You may find some in your kitchen, such as ginger, garlic and cinnamon, while others such as chrysanthemum, peony flowers, honey suckle and dandelion are more likely to be found in your garden! Many of the substances used will be unfamiliar to you and have names like chai hu (bupleurum), di huang (rehmannia), and huang qi (astragalus). Some substances that were used traditionally are no longer part of modern professional Chinese herbal medicine practice. For example, traditional remedies that are derived from endangered species have been replaced by other substances with similar actions.
Moxibustion
Moxibustion is a traditional Chinese medicine therapy , which utilises the herb moxa, aka the mugwort herb. The moxa is grounded up into fluffs and then processed further into a stick that resembles a (non-smokable) cigar.
Cupping
Cupping is an ancient Chinese therapy in which a cup is applied to the skin and the pressure in the cup is reduced (either by heat or suction) in order to draw and hold skin and superficial muscles inside the cup. Sometimes, while the suction is active, the cup is moved, causing the skin and muscle to be pulled. This is called gliding cupping.
Remedial Massage
Remedia Massage is an ancient Therapy that has been used in China for 2,000 years. Tuina uses acupressure points to release muscles and promote the flow of circulation to promote healing and relaxation to the whole body.
