About Us

Baolin Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine Centre was established in 2003, been one of the first and few to collaborate a team of professionals in the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). The motivation behind this was because we noticed a crucial need in the TCM profession in Australia. Every TCM practitioner after they graduate would specialise in a particular field of TCM. Some may focus in the direction of herbal medicine, and accumulate valuable experience in this area, however this also means that in other areas such as acupuncture, they may be not as sufficient. On the other hand, a practitioner who has expertise in acupuncture, may neglect other areas such as herbal medicine. Basically every TCM practitioner will have their strengths and weaknesses in different fields of TCM, much like western doctors specialising in different fields of medicine. In TCM hospitals in China, practitioners are categorised according to their specialties, to meet the needs of the patients. However, in Australia most TCM clinics are run by a single TCM practitioner who is required to practice all fields of TCM, some of which he or she will not be as experienced in as others. It is for this reason, we established Baolin to provide optimal health care solutions to the community, through the collaboration of a team of TCM practitioners each with their own area of TCM specialisation such as herbal medicine, acupuncture and remedial massage therapy.

The centre is renowned for providing effective health services to the Perth community, boasting a professional treatment environment and always striving for the best health outcome according to each patient’s needs. Our services include acupuncture, meridian massage and Chinese medicine to help for weight loss, quitting smoking, fertility, sport injuries and other health problems. Over the years, word of mouth referrals by customers have facilitated the centre to grow and expand in the range of services provided. Contact us today at either our Perth clinic or Subiaco clinic, where you can expect the utmost care, personal attention and expert treatment by the professional team of dedicated acupuncture and TCM practitioners to restore your health and wellbeing.
