Welcome to Bardwell Park Physiotherapy

Bardwell Park Physiotherapy was founded in 2013 by Principal Physiotherapist Ruth Brian, a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.  Ruth is also a member of the APA specialist groups – Musculoskeletal, Sports and Women’s Health.

Ruth has over 20 years practice experience, working as a partner at ‘Brian and Middlemiss Physiotherapy’ (1988 – 2004), at Dulwich Hill Physiotherapy and at the Physiotherapy Department at a public Hospital.  Ruth has also presented in-service education and provided supervision to less experienced staff members in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and women’s health.

Her strong commitment to continuing education distinguishes Ruth’s career.  She is a Titled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and has spent six years as a clinical educator for post graduate students studying a Masters in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at University of Sydney, where she also supervised 2nd and 4th year undergraduates on clinical units.Ruth continues to teach undergraduate physiotherapy at ACU.

Bardwell Park Physiotherapy takes a coordinated approach to patient care providing high quality physiotherapy through assessment, individual treatment programs and with aims towards self-management.  We utilise a strong skill base and many years of mature experience in the assessment and management of complex spinal and extremity symptoms.
