bartley hair was originally established by its present owner Greg Bartley over 17 years ago and established itself as one of the best and innovative salons in the Sydney area, delivering exceptional service and hairdressing in an atmosphere of complete relaxation.

Greg and his team at bartley hair are dedicated to providing the best in hairdressing, with excellent product choices using the most modern equipment that will give you the WOW factor.

My name is Greg Bartley and welcome to bartley hair. I am the salon cutting director and team leader and together with my team, we are bartley hair.

I have been hairdressing for over 40 years and have developed very strong cutting skills. Each year I travel overseas to keep up to date with the latest, cutting fashions, trends and techniques.

I then bring these skills back for the team to share with our clients. After working with some of the best hairdressers in Australia, I opened my own salon in Sydney in 1997.

A ‘vine change’ has brought me to the Hunter Valley with a strong desire to re-create my successful Sydney salon experience in the beautiful Maitland region.

My personal interests are fine wine, food and travel.

Cutting

At bartley hair we believe that great hair cutting is the foundation of all hairdressing.

Through Schwarzkopf Professional Essential Looks, we are able to see forecasts of the future trends in cutting from the best hair fashion creators in the world.

Twice a year the latest trend and forecasts are brought back from Paris, London, New York and Milan. We are strongly dedicated to training our stylists throughout the year.

Colouring

bartley hair can perform wonders with our extensive knowledge in all facets of colouring, from permanent to semi permanent colour. We use Schwarzkopf Professional and Pravana colours to tailor to your needs.

Foiling

Our foiling expertise is superb. There are many ways of doing foils: single or half head, to full head, with new techniques starting to come out such as Balliage and Panel work.
Permanent Styling

We feel at bartley hair that Schwarzkopf Professional Glamour Wave is the best one for our clients, as it delivers excellent results and maintains the condition of the hair.
