Our Story​

Maryke, the owner, has been in the industry since the late 80’s, and after her apprenticeship with Stefans, has gone on to work in salons in Sydney’s highly fashionable Oxford St. and in the West End of London. Today, Maryke is in high demand as a Paul Mitchell Associate and is the Gold Coast based educator but remains focused on delivering her own style of service to all her wonderful clients.

From humble beginnings on the beachfront at Currumbin, Beeba Hair (formerly Coastal Hair) has established itself as a leading salon in the southern Gold Coast region and is now a Paul Mitchell focus salon (the first in Australia).
