Benton’s Plumbing Supplies is a family owned and operated business that serves the Plumbing, Gas and Water Industries as well as the public.

Benton’s is a member of the Plumbtec buying organisation, which comprises of over 85 independently owned members, with a network of over 200 stores nationally, that have joined together to help serve the public.

Today we retain our independence and the day-to-day involvement of our founding principles, yet we are able to draw on the marketing resources and purchasing power of a national buying group.

Our History

Originally known as East Keilor Plumbing Supplies, this 20 year old business was purchased by the Benton family in 1987. Benton’s joined the Plumbtec Buying Group in 1995 and is now known as Benton’s Plumbtec.

The company has expanded throughout the late 1990’s to early 2000’s to include the former businesses W.E. Cash Plumbing Supplies, Burgundy Plumbing and Hardware and W.E.

Cash Plumbing Supplies Leongatha. In the late 1990’s Benton’s Gas was formed to service the Gas industry. Benton’s Water was created in the early 2000’s to supply Melbourne’s major water companies.

Benton’s Gas Vision

Our ability as a business to react to industry change is characterised by Benton’s Gas Division. It was established following the deregulation of the Gas & Fuel Corporation in the 1990s.

Today, Benton’s Gas is a major supplier for gas mains contractors with a comprehensive gas appliance spare parts department.
