Welcome

Berowra physiotherapy is a small friendly practice situated on the highway at Berowra. Patient care is our priority and we take pride in quality treatment for all our patients.

No referral is necessary unless claiming workers comp. or medicare EPC scheme.

All our therapists are members of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and are involved in continuing education.
At Berowra Physio we give a 10% discount to local sporting clubs and pensioners.

Our opening hours have been designed to suit most people’s availability and we do home visits when necessary.

At Berowra Physiotherapy we also offer remedial and Swedish massage.
We have eftpos and hicaps available.

Services

1. Jackie is a credentialed McKenzie therapist which is a form of exercise therapy for spinal conditions which are easy to perform. Both Jackie and Robyn have many years experience of treating sports injuries from muscle sprains to intense rehab after an ACL repair.

2. Dry needling is a form of acupuncture which involves needling a tight knot in the muscle to release it.

3. Massage is offered 6 days a week now including Saturday and Sunday. We offer Swedish, remedial and trigger point therapy. More on Trigger Points

4. Our free strapping service is available 6 days a week. Just call the practice on the day you need the strapping and one of us will strap you ready to play your chosen sport!

5. Heat mouldable orthotics are available. These correct the alignment of the foot and therefore lower limb mechanics. They can be transferred from shoe to shoe.

6. Respiratrory Physiotherapy is recommended for patients with persistent chest infections, bronchiectasis or cystic fibrosis. All the physios at Berowra can give chest physiotherapy.

7. Home visits are available on request for those in severe pain who are therefore unable to travel and also the elderly who are better treated in their own home.
