I consider myself to be a hard and efficient worker, reliable and helpful to all my clients. I respect and follow all rules and regulations outlined by the industry governing body. I have been a sole trader for the past 14 years and have a good correspondence with all my clients. All work has been carried out to Australian standard and in a reasonable time frame. This quality standard of work is the reason why I have been able to continue as a sole trader for the past 14 years with a happy client base.
I have achieved many things in the past 14 years and participated in a wide range of work. I have carried out work on household maintenance, factory unit, new housing, shopping centres, water mains and recycled water.
In house maintenance I have done just about anything you could imagine from changing washers to installing new tap ware and PC items, sewer blockages and repairs, fix leaking pipes, installing gutters , all types of domestic gas appliances , extensions ,bathroom renovations and installation of new gas connection.
I have worked many years for city coast realty a commercial real-estate agent on the central coast. This has given me experience in larger commercial property and the different service design needed. During this work I met different property developers and was able to gain jobs in the commercial industry. I carried out work on new shopping centres where I was able to install gas supply, water, stormwater and sewer.
I have been contracted in a number of new home buildings, installing and supplying all aspects of plumbing involved. I have installed a number a different tank systems, Natural gas and LPG piping installations.
I carried out work for about a year for Sydney water renewing water mains. This involved digging up existing mains and replacing with new Poly pipe mains. This was good experience dealing with road closer and traffic control. This also gave me experience in pipe busting and poly welding. I was also lucky enough to work for Gemna, installing a 450mm poly pipe recycle water line that the gas company was building for the new water recycle plant in Sydney.
Most recently I have been working for the powerhouse museum in Sydney .I was contracted to carry out plumbing works on a new toilet facility which contained 10 toilets, 3 urinals, 4 basins and a disabled toilet room. The building was fitted with tank water delivered by a wind mill. I also worked on the 40mm and 50mm main gas pipe line relocating it to fit new stretches. I have installed about 400m of new sewer line. I have relocated about 200m of main water and fire hose real line. I have installed about 100m of stormwater and several pits. I have connected all existing toilet to tank water and many maintenance jobs.
I was lucky to have a great boss at the start to my plumbing carry and was shown how to carry out quality and efficient work from the start. I completed my apprenticeship with Ajax plumbing and worked for 11years before starting my own business. When I started my apprenticeship with Ajax it consisted of my boss Michael and me. Over the 11 years working I was lucky to be a part of the growth of Ajax Plumbing to be one of the biggest plumbing companies in Sydney. I gained great experience in how to build a business which I have been able to transfer into my own business.
I have had 25 years’ experience in the plumbing industry and performed a wide range of work. I am looking forward to the new challenge of creating a new client base in Western Australia
