BMR Business Solutions is a locally owned chartered accounting practice which has been operating now for nearly 20 years.  We offer a proactive service and are focussed on developing strong working relationships with our clients.  Owner, Brett Robinson, is supported by a team of professional staff trained to provide clients with advice and service of the highest standard in:

Our Team

Brett Robinson CA

Brett established “BMR Business Solutions” in 1994, after having worked in public practice since 1986. Brett was born in Rockhampton and has lived in Brisbane most of his life. He graduated from Oral Roberts University ( Oklahoma, USA) in 1985 and was admitted as a Chartered Accountant in 1994.

Brett believes in offering a personalised, friendly service to clients.Brett has over 25 years experience advising small-medium sized businesses across a broad range of taxation, accounting and superannuation. He also has a particular interest in the primary production industry.

Brett is married with three teenage children and is a keen tennis enthusiast.

Sean Gough CPA

Sean has been working in public practice since 1986 whilst studying full time at Griffith University. He completed his degree in 1987 and went on to study to become a Certified Practising Accountant (member of CPA Australia).

Working in medium size public practices in the CBD over 17 years, has allowed him to gain experience in a wide range of accounting, taxation and business services rather than specialising in one particular area. He also, during this time, had experience in Audit, Due Diligence and Reporting Statutory Financial statements for sporting clubs, gaming machines, charities, large corporations and public companies. This diversity over the years is what he can offer to clients of BMR Business Solutions.
Over the last 26 years, Sean has realised the importance of client rapport and relationships built on a professional basis. It is important to be available to all clients and to build a relationship of mutual respect, trust and confidence. He continues to have clients who have enjoyed this service for more than 20 years.
Sean is available to provide an extensive range of taxation, business and planning services to an extensive range of clients; from individual taxpayers, to small to medium size businesses and large corporate structures.

Kerry Gough CPA Com.Dec

Kerry began working in public practice in 2000 while she completed her Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Accounting) on a part time basis.  Upon graduating in 2004, she commenced employment with BMR Business Solutions and went on to study to become a Certified Practising Accountant (member of CPA Australia).

In her role as a Senior Accountant, Kerry provides business, accounting and taxation services as well as advice for all individuals and business clients. Her main focus, within the practice, is Self Managed Superannuation Funds, and is responsible for the administration and management of our Superannuation Fund clients.
Kerry is also a Commissioner of Declarations, and, as a service to BMR Business Solutions, has the ability to witness documents where necessary. Should you require a Com.Dec service, please contact our office to make a mutually convenient time to meet with her.

Glen Levitt CPA

Glen completed a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting at Griffith University in 2004, after which, he commenced his employment with BMR Business Solutions.  He has since gone on to study to become a Certified Practicing Accountant (member of CPA).

In his role as a Senior Accountant at BMR Business Solutions, Glen provides business advisory and taxation services to a wide range of individuals and business entities, and looks after most of our primary production clientele.

Tamie Mentzer
Tamie joined BMR Business Solutions in 2003, as a receptionist, from where she progressed, taking on various roles until her current position of Office Manager and Bookkeeper.
Tamie’s position at BMR Business Solutions involves; accounts payable and debt collection, corporate administration, payroll services, bookkeeping and preparation of BAS as well as the preparation of individual income tax returns.

Tamie previously completed business and administration certificates through TAFE.
