Remedial Massage – $45 – half hour, $85 – hour, $100 – 1.5hr

Remedial massage is applied to the soft tissues of the body such as the skin, fascia, muscles, tendons & ligaments. At BODYHARMONIE we incorporate techniques that will relieve the body of pain, including the use of the fingers, knuckles, hands, forearms and elbows in order to therapeutically manipulate the soft tissues of the body to elicit a change. Remedial massage targets problematic or painful areas including aching muscles and postural imbalances as well as the neighbouring muscles and tissue as a fixative for muscular pain and symptoms. Benefits include, pain relief, release of tension in tight muscles, improves joint functionality, improves circulation, aids in relaxation.

Relaxation/Swedish Massage – $45 -half hour, $85 – hour, $100 -1.5hr

Relaxation massage increases circulation and rejuvenates tired muscles, leaving your mind and body deeply relaxed. This occurs because massage prompts the release of endorphins (natural neurotransmitters) in the body that produce feelings of wellbeing. A BODYHARMONIE Relaxation massage is a full body massage that will leave you feeling light, rested and rejouvenated for days after.

Pregnancy Massage (Pre and Post-Natal) – $85 – hour, $100 – 1.5hr

Pregnancy massage is a popular complementary therapy during pregnancy for muscular pain and body aches when pain relief options such as medication, is often limited. Not only can massage be physically beneficial, but the human touch can be comforting and provide emotional support during pregnancy. Pregnancy massage has been found to reduce stress, decrease swelling in the arms and legs, and relieve aches and pains in muscles and joints during and after birth.
At BODYHARMONIE we offer pregnancy massage after the first trimester and during the pregnancy period, we can also offer post-natal rejuvenation for the period following birth to help new mothers regain harmony with their changing bodies and lifestyle.

Sports Massage – $45 – half hour, $85 – hour, $100 – 1.5hr

Sports Massage is a blend of Swedish Massage and Remedial techniques specifically designed to cater to the needs of professional athletes, which is generally rendered before, during, and after athletic events to help prepare the athlete for desired performance, to relax the nerves and prevent injuries. Sports massage works deep to eliminate toxins embedded in muscle fibres, remove adhesions, and minimise scar tissue build-up. Muscle lengthening in sports massage helps restore a range of motion and overall flexibility.
